Funny at the beginning, but after the first fivehundred kills it gets a bit boring. Add an armor shop, a weapon shop and maybe some other skills and special moves would maybe help.

Hm, way too many moves got locked out when you get depowered. In the beginning it seems that "D" is the only useful attack, and it gets boring that way.

This is actually an interesting game packed with great animations and a pretty dynamic gameplay, reminds me much of SNES or sega games. All it's missing is better grammar (imo), a story that's pretty epic, a purpose (since just running around killing people gets boring real fast), and maybe some more playable characters. If you have all that, I'm pretty sure you'll get a 4.5 star minimum :D

For the "kill a certain amount of enemies within X time" missions, just stand still and let them come to you (use the down+D move or the up+D,D when they come). For some reason the game spawns less enemies when you're moving.
Aside from that, cool animations, art, etc, but the game feels really slow, and even a small amount of story between levels would really have made the game more interesting. I also think a lot of the combos don't trigger reliably, (The 360 death suplex for example, unless I just suck at the timing).
Adding an ability to jump, improved walking speed, sidescrolling levels instead of all of them being the same arena, and this game would be 5/5 easy...but as it is, it feels like the developer finished the combat system, and then wanted to finish the rest of the game as fast as possible...leave the game fun, but incomplete feeling.

I haven't seen any posts regarding the achievements so I thought I'd put together the ones I've unlocked. The first 6 achievements are for battles fought (100 max I think haven't unlocked number 6 yet), the next 4 are for combos (goes up to 50 combo), next 4 damage done (max 10,000), next 10 monster kills (max 1,000), next 4 "lethal kills" (should be named critical hits or insta-kills imho but oh well) (max 100), next 9 no clue haven't unlocked, next 4 walking distance (max 1,000 ft.), next 3 destroy statues (max 50), next 3 kill donkeys (max 50), next 2 pause (5x and 10x), next 2 visit shop (5x and 10x), next 2 visit upgrade screen (5x and 10x), next 2 visit artifact screen (5x and 10x), next 2 unknown, next 2 view credits (1x and 5x), next 7 complete zone 1 maps 1-7, next 7 complete zone 2 maps 1-7, next 7 complete zone 3 maps 1-7. Hope this helps some folks.

Secret: press D after kicking (s + up) will make you skip the useless swinging of the air (+ if it helped with combos)

great game its like Kronos(gameplay),Epic War(dismemberment/blood),and Epic Quest(skills/menu)put together but still could use some improvement like more skills and different scenarios 4/5

Did anyone try and standby at the mapselection? Hehee, this game is full of hidden stuff. Epic soundtrack, it just takes so time- 2mins I guess.

It's the missions in which you have to kill a certain amount of guys within the time limit that completely kill the game. It doesn't matter if you kill them all in one hit, it just completely comes down to luck whether or not you will even see enough enemies with the time frame.
