@essenceend The account recovery is already simple enough. With a registered email you can get back your account quickly. Should you want more security, Jagex Account Guardian has more questions to make your account more secure and more easily reclaimable.

This is a pretty good game, the only issue is account recovery. They need to make it simpler to make it easier to recover your lost account. EX- i had a level 70 that i had had since like 2005 and i lost it, and now i cant get it back, etc ,etc.

why does it keep stopping at 50% loading for me and freezing, anyone know? btw, this is a VERY great game. I'm level 116 on it, and I still love it, even after the EOC. 10/5 always.

why do people hate eoc..... sure, the game has in a sense moved on, yes it may be too mainstream now, but a game this ambitious needs to have some comfortable elements from similar games. i for one like the new non rune combat spells and melee abilities. it is a fair addition to an awesome game....and nothing more

Yeah, I'd say 2011 is where this game went downhill. I have been a die hard fan of this since 2005, don't get me wrong. I just don't like it anymore. From the "squeal of fortune" to money not being held in the inventory to other weird stuff, it just lost its appeal for me.

I wish they would make a runescape that was RIGHT after the GE came out, that was the best runescape, most enjoyable, etc.. For me and most people I know.

Played this since 2002, on-off. Good times were had, yet playing used to be fun before 2006 or so. After that it took a turn for the worse.
Making money in this game is too easy. Manipulating GE (f.ex "flipping") nets you hundreds of millions in no time. It takes no effort, just some common sense and math.
Jagex's greediness really showed when free trade was once again allowed. Jagex didn't even try to do anything about the botters, because member botters = alot of money. Not before they realized real people were quitting did they do something about it.
The removal of Wilderness in 2007 was a big mistake. Basically they ruined the gameplay for millions of players, in an effort to make the game "safer". Any idiot should be able to read the rules and realize not to get scammed or killed. Wilderness removal was only a countermeasure to stupidity.
This'll most likely raise a S***storm, but tbh I have more experience about this than 99% of the players playing nowadays.

the combat beta redesigns the game's combat triangle due to the fact that there's a lot of newer attacks and equipment that are both available to memebers and non-mem in its launch

@souljabri557 I sort of agree with you sort of don't.Becuase since then more things to do have been added, more minigames and stuff like that, and to choose what graphic you want. Say you want the best graphics, al you have to do is click for the best one, or say the worst graphics. And able to put it on full screen is amazing too.

I don't really like the new -new- runescape. Sure, it was better in 2009/2010 than it was in 2004, but now, 2012, it is horrible. I mean I still play it but I liked it better before :(

I've played this game since i was like 5 i know thats alittle to much i am now 13 my first account was spong x20[i mean to put sponge and my other account was xsarge1 they i couldn't go on them because i needed an email addres to log on to them now my account is called dragweezery[my main] and my pure that i mostly pk on is called enchiladas feel free to talk to me well later peeps and i know this paragraph is very long on my opinion this is the best mmo ive playe'd yet :].

bhoothnath, if your mid-level and theres nothing to do maybe you should try to get a high level or do the difficult quests, those arent boring if its difficult.

I think that after a certain point, when you become mid-leveled, there is utterly nothing to do as the other quests are boring or to difficult. It also seems that only people in the lvl 100+ range get major enemy updates.
