Graphics are, as everyone's said, amazing, but the AI is terrible. I spent fifteen minutes trying to convince one of the giant monsters to walk near a barrel, only for it to turn back and forth countless times, resulting in me chasing it around, trying to get it to stand still. Frustrating.

Excellent game! I would like to see some challenge levels or a survival mode or something. A random mission generator if possible would also be awesome. If you had those things I could play this game for months!

Good game overall, though it definitely needs some balance. You're never short on cash if you actually play the game and loot the cash boxes, so buying weapons is never an issue. Also, you reach the level cap within a few missions (like the first 5 or 6), at which point your entire squad is pretty much invincible and the rest of the game is extremely boring.

Soldiers should get experience for healing other soldiers. My "medic" is stuck at level three while my other guys are maxed out.

This game could come to rival some Pay-To-Play 3D games. I was astounded by the ability to have these kind of graphics using only Adobe Flash player. I've attempted a few games myself, but have barely got past pixels. Good job, and I hope to see a sequel or another game of this magnitude sometime later.

The game is great fun. Saying that straight up. Its well designed, the units are unique, the graphics are good, I dont care what the inspiration is, you made a great product. Problems are fixable. First off, the game is easy. Not a little easy. Not mildly difficult. This is tutorial level simple easy. Second off, being able to skip enemy animations would be lovely. Third off... make something to do after the storyline! The game is short. Some sort of survival mode/level editor/replay missions, etc. I want to keep playing. Mostly, I want to keep playing until it gets hard. The game is certainly a 4/5, but I feel like you have much more potential than you have tapped.

This game is awesome! Unfortunately, there is a disappointing glitch. After completing a mission, I hit the main menu button because I had to go do something. The game then exited of the mission and when I clicked continue later on, I had to replay the same mission again. As you can see, this could get very aggravating later on more difficult missions.

awesome game man! If you're looking to expand on this, I think that there should be a level builder for some added replayability and some kind of an instant animation to make longer battles less gruelling.

Absolutely love this game. This is why I play on kong. Hope there's a sequel. A few suggestions though. This has already been mentioned but you should add a fast forward or "skip" enemies turn button. Also, if there is a sequel, add in a few more customizations. Every one loves outfitting characters with custom gear. 5/5, and favorite. Hope to see more work from you like this.

Oh my f***ing god! I have the original game, it's just amazing, 5/5 for this one, just for the remake, it makes me feel nostalgic. Thumbs up for the good ol' games remakes!

It may just be me, but a top down camera angle option would help in lessening me constantly adjusting the camera so I can see. Other than that minor complaint , this is a very well made game with an almost unheard of level of graphical quality. Easy 5 stars for me.

It's all about the bayonets! You can camp an opening with assault rifles and pretend like its already been destroyed =x

Really great game, always loved Incubation back in the day so this is fantastic. My suggestions would be 1) difficulty settings. 2) level selector once you have finished. 3) In incubation the best way to make characters unique was with different weapons so more weapons = much higher replay value and more customisation. 4) Perhaps limit defence mode attacks to how much AP you had left at the end of turn. 5) Speed up button for movement/combat animation. 5/5!

I keep moving my first guy 2 spaces and instinctively pressing "End Turn" to move on to the next unit. Since you have to wait 4 hours after every turn before you can even press the exit button, this understandably becomes very frustrating. Maybe add a warning when you try to end the turn without moving all troops?

(1) i'll have to disagree with ddd09ish1, i actually managed to seal all monster spawners in the last level except 1, and only because i needed 1 more turn (just 1 more!!). (2) Seriously AMAZING i loved playing it, although i'll have to agree that it's way too short and the enemies get really easy to kill with just a tiny bit of strategy. i'd say there should be different kinds of spawners for different monsters. (3) a speedup button is absolutely necessary. (4) certain monsters should be able to crack doors open (the last level was extremely easy because of the door usage) (5) once you buy a gun, make it so that it is selectable again for free. This game was a great deal of fun to play, seriously, i loved it, i cant express how much, im eagerly waiting for an addon or a sequel. :))

good game but it is drawn out (the last level is laughably easy Spoiler alert: I just had the super marine spent turns 2-18 walking around closing the gates) to people complaining about ammo..yeah the melee weapon is good I used it on 3 marines (then super marine and 1 sniper)

@kenn302.. there is a melee ability. You need to buy the 3rd gun with the bayonet. Becareful about spawn camping with it tho. The xp is lousy so use up some ammo first. Characters max out at lvl 8 and after that it's to easy.

Defend skill makes it WAY too easy. My guys all have assault with bayonet... just hit defend instead of attacking... instagib all the little guys, use small amounts of ammo on the medium shooters. I switched to playing the game without using defend.

Smooth out the difficulty, please. Level 2 is almost impossible (no ammo EVER) and then it gets really easy after that.

ok you get a 5/5 from me, but this is by FAR to be 5/5... if you have a gun, it's guessable that you know how to shoot from a very definite distance, and that would lead me to my complaint: NO MELEE SKILL AT ALL... Seriously? it's like a mage character that has no common attack... he can easily take enemies, but if the fight prolongs too much, hes dead :D that what happens in lvl 3 if you didn't get more than 2 characters alive in the previous stage

excellent game and beautiful by the standards of flash. playability is super high and i enjoyed the actual tactics... however deltassius has a point i agree with.
bayonets are too good for sure. the little guys need to be able to move on the turn they spawned; otherwise the spawn sewer grates become basically meaningless (since you can just put one guy with a bayonet outside it and defend forever). some more differences between units could also be interesting, but i don't think this game really needs it. the only good guns at the end are assault and sniper though so maybe some more weapon options?
nevertheless a great tactics game and definitely the best I have played in flash.
