great game but the battlefield is to small i find it really hard to react on time because they're at the other side in no time.

Great game! =] kept me entertained for hours :) EPIC TACTIC I THOUGHT OF AND WORKED! when you get all the horses lets like 2-3 waves of the enemys past while u gain command cost (CC). When you have about 600 CC you can train 6 champ horses then 6 mace lancers and you own =]. then just keep sending in waves of 6 horses (1 in each ->). i took 5 territories liuke this took like 2 mins a game and only lost about 3 horses throughout the whole 5! :)

Well that was cheap. Entered a fight that said 20 cavalry at first then it magically changed to 200 cavalry. I won, but still that was annoying.

if you take out persia first and then you conquer the rest of the territorys, when you come back to the map it wont give you the victory box with the play again and the statistics. you gotta refresh and hit continue. i did that on hard.

Problem with this game is you NEEEEEEEEED to react quickly and whatnot. Playing on a laptop with the mouse on those would be extreeeeeeeeeemely difficult

It's not a "stolen" game, but a lot of the same ideas were seen in this game from previous games. There was really next to no improvement to make it any different imo. That's just me though.

cam.. maybe ur playing on the hard difficulty or something.. coz the easiest one is really easy and ive played this game twice.. and had no problems . 5/5

once you get into cappadocia and have sarmatia, you should have a strong leadership and have at leat the 2nd upgrades on horse attack and both all unit boosts with a fair amount of like 50 companion and 50 mace scout calveraly. that way when you start to get out further you can deploy 1 compainion on each arrow at the start of the battle then use the mace scouts for most of the battle.

bug, i go to invade a territorry, or to be more detailed if it only happends to this one place was where i invaded lydia and took it but when i went to invade phrygia it came back to the battle screen of lydia but my blue bar was all the way on the right, no unit icons on both sides the arrows were there. i think there was no points (what you use to deploy units). and when i tried to retreat the bar slowly went all the way down and did nothing when the brown bar was all the way on the left. hope thats detailed enough

the unit cap is bugged, and this really sucks, it's quite a good game, but i had to upgrade the cap twice to get the effect of one upgrade... also the enemy is just too strong in some cases

Army of 99 hypaspist (1), 50 companion cavalry (2), and 51 silver shield guard (3) works best. Use hypaspists against spears, silver shield guards against cavalry (or archers that get closer than halfway), and cavalry against everything else (swords and far archers). Pretty repetitive, and game really should end after you conquer Persia.

Guys, just because it's similar to a previous game does not mean it is a rip-off. If it brings new ideas to the table it's not.

all ideas were stolen? so cave men knew all about atomic physics? germ theory was just ignored till the 18th century? and atari didn't have tower defence games becouse no one wanted to play them? You might be incapable of original thought. others are not.

Honestly, this set up wasn't very good the last few times either. The leveling up/research aspect is cool but the send toops down one of x paths scheme is just... boring.

This game is VERY similar to Warlords: Call to Arms. I like the addition of an economy though. Still seems a little rough around some edges. I didn't notice much difference in the difficulty levels. Once you get the hang of the game, it's all pretty much the same.

ya what kenneth said, this game is exactly warlords, same fighting view, same health, same way they fight the same way. the only thing thats different is that you have a limited amount of guys.

Honestly, this is almost a carbon copy of warlords. There was no advancement in the combat system. The upgrade system, albeit similar, seems fairly decent though. It gives slightly more in depth advancement compared to that of warlords, though not by much. For originality, 3/5.

Very entertaining. I found there are a lot of strategies you can employ on the battlefield, and even a seemingly impossible battle can be won with careful unit control.

nice game. Could use some more upgrades and mabey something you can buy for each area? like if your fighting from once country that has towers in it you do 10% more damage?

Good Game it has a lot of work put into it, but there is poor instructions so it took me a while to figure out all the controls. It can get a bit boring also.
