Good game, 5/5!
First time i played i played it on Son of Zeus difficulty (and won :D )
I love how you can just mess around after you take Persia! But this game could really be more enjoyable with badges, not something like purchase all upgrades, cos once you beat persia you can just click end turn over and over and buy it all. Something like complete on hardest difficulty, maybe do something, like take persia, by a certain turn?

Tips to finish the game the game....
1.) Read the Tutorial.
2.) When buying units, the infantry must be the maniest. Buy cavalry, no need to use peltast nor archers, use hypaspists.
3.) Attack these regions, Thrace-Lydia-Phrygia-Cappadocia-Syria-Assyria-Babylonia-Medea-Persia. Then attack the rest.
4.) In all of all Researches, Leadership is the most important. Also upgrade your units and research Field Barracks and War Taxes and Western Trade Routes.
5.) If you have much money, buy this one by one, Hypaspist-Pikeman-Lancer-Companion Cavalry-Silver Shield Guard.
6.) Get some Advice from Seleukos.
7.) Most importantly, USE YOUR MIND!!!!!!!!!!

ok so ive conquered almost every territory but persia and after like 10 failed attacks i finnaly beat it. reason: the enemy sent a wave to attack me and i killed the attacker instead of the emporer

Strategy:
first try to upgrade calvary damege, then buy some decent calvary units (either the macdonian lancer or companian calvary). next try to buy calvary tactics research.
Now, at the begging of every battle, be sparring with your units, only send them where the enemy are, wait till the last second to send them. try to save enough points to send 5 calvary, then send then across in a wave. If your leadership is high enough, by the time the calvary reach the other side, you should have enough points for another wave, do until you conquor the enemy

i find one thing odd about this game, my enemy sends out and infantry and it kills my archer, my enemy sends out and archer and kills my cavalry, my enemy sends out a cavalry and kills my infantry and this happens a lot but when i send archer against archer, cavalry against cavalry, and infantry against infantry i kill them please explain this

I do have one thing to say about the game I think that our armies world be more like the persins meaning that we would have to move the army to a spot we can attack and that we could have multiple armies just on diffrent spots because you could have just taken persia and then attack Dacia on the other side of the map without having to move the army and with multiple armies you could attack areas at the same time

Really good game with awesome graphics. Im greek myself and this is the EXACT same army that Alexander the Great had. Thumbs up if you like this game. :D

Whao, once you've taken over persia, All you need is Companion Cavalry with full upgrades for most enemy troops. Might lose a couple CC if the enemy sends spearmen but you can just overrun them with your 3 sec horse recharge. 5/5 Love the game. :D

lol at oly exedus, not only was swordfall kingdoms made after this game, they were made by the same auther. i am not sure if it is even possible to be more stupid then you are rigt now.

@OlyExodus Dude, same uploader, same developer, search a bit before whining. If you check the website, they only have 3 games, all the others are re-editions of one of these 3 original games.

I'm experiencing some issues...this game was so great I wanted to play it again. So I pressed 'New Game' and selected my difficulty...and it told me I had won, with the statistics I had from playing the first time.

Battle Instructions: Use Pikeman/Hypaspist/Cavalry combination in the middle game. Archer and Peltasts are somewhat useless in the game, since Cavalry takes a quick shot and u have to send pikeman to stop them. (They are actually good, but there are better units) Against Immortals, use well-upgraded Hypastist. (Range units can work, but u have to send them earlier, which hypastist works better) Against Range, use Cavalry. Against Cavalry, use Long Spearman (Pikeman,Guard) when you have almost infinite money, use Guard/Companion Cavalry since it is the best (and the most expensive) combination. Always remember to hotkey your units to counter-attack your enemy. Upgrade wisely. They really affects the game. (Please press + if this helped you)

Instructions for "Son of Zeus" (Always listen to your advisors)
On the first battle, use "Cavalry" to win without losing any units
After the first battle, upgrade "Trade Routes" and "War Taxes" with all money you have
Without ending a turn, attack Lydia. Use "Cavalry" only. (+100% first attack is useful)
After invading Lydia, use all your money to upgrade "Trade Routes" and "War Taxes."
End the turn. Upgrade "Money"(Trade Routes, War Taxes), leadership, and make "Militia"
Attack Illyria. Cavalry against Archers, Cavalry after Militia against Cavalry, Peltast against Footmen. Then upgrade "Money" and end turn. This continues before enemy general comes to boarder when you have to unlock "Hypaspist" Attack the boarder with "Hypaspist" +1 sword. Then attack Dacia with +2 sword +1 Armor "Hypaspist"/"Peltast" to kill Swordmen in one shot. Then attack Cilicia. "Hypaspist" will take down in first attack. Research "Pikeman" and "Money"
