I understand the concept of difficult game and the memories brought by unforgiving ones they made back in the day, not worrying about please the player as much as to show his/her worth. And I understand a true puzzle should be difficult. But not when it is random, almost entirely determined by luck, and whose difficulty involves starting all over again from scratch. That has the sole effect to frustrate and angry the player, cuss a lot, vote your game down and never come back.

Checkpoints at each new wizard stage would help, but it's still a pretty awesome game. And I just realized I can move pieces around the ring after they're placed. This changes everything... (I'm not sure it makes the game any easier, but it does change it.)

Just got the Hard badge today... Honestly, I didn't ever think I'd be able to get it. This should be changed to an "impossible" badge.

Got to level 27 which required a Stellar+Earth brick. Using all my deals as well as all my saved extra deals got me 0 of the kind. Impossible is not "relaxed"

With one side asking for specific shape and the other side asking for a specific color the math goes something like this. 1/4 correct shapes next to 1/4 correct colors Meaning the chances of getting both are 1/16 which is 6.25%. You start with 4 pieces and can place up to 7 pieces safely. You can also use your free deals to make 6 more totaling 17. With that being said it is not too unlikely to do with bonus deals but the levels can have that setup twice over in the same puzzle. Maybe even more in later levels as I am now stopped at 18 due to Luna/blue and Terra/blue on opposite sides. Good luck to any who wish for this badge.

I was having so much difficulty with this game, so I looked at the "Best" comments in the hopes of finding a useful strategy, or at least a helpful hint or two... Alas, no help for me... :(

Got to level 21 and then I needed Green/Red. I didn't get a single green red after filling the circle, using all my deals, and using all my bonuses.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Soo.... even if I complete the puzzle and fill everything appropriately, my solution can still "not be strong enough to stop the dragon." And that's aside from all the complaints in the top comments. I guess there's a reason this is one of the first badges UNEARNED from Oldest to Newest.

Such bull that you have to completely start over if you loose a round. Totally not worth the play at all. I rage-quit after have to restart THREE TIMES after level 11. Not worth it at all.

Personally I like the puzzle challenge it presents, but I dislike the start from scratch every time. *However*, it's one of the oldest games on Kong, and you have to admit that it's just a little on the challenging side ;) Probably should be 90 points on this Hard badge, though.

I hate this game - and I'm only playing it for the achievement. Random doesn't begin to describe it. At the start of most of the levels, it advertises ideal configurations. When you hit one does it reward you? Nah. Feel good inside instead. The hazing transparency when you cast an extra deal is annoying to. "I'm doing you a favour you know and you're in trouble". And automatically killing you for putting the last tile in wrong rather than stopping you and giving you "a give up" option instead.

Just keep restarting until you get 4 of every colour and symbol on the first level. Then hoard your power ups, only using them to get more or when you are stuck with NO other options.

a list of what combos give you what bonusses would be a welcome addition, allong with Checkpoints every 10 levels (when you enter a new element)

good game, great Idea, normally 5/5
But no save function on a Random/luck based game.
This just makes it impossible.. so 1/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Stressful and somewhat dependent on luck due to the clear lack of checkpoints (extra life= a few thousand points?). With careful use of resources, it is barely possible to complete all thirty. I did so on my 2nd try. 3/5 due to lack of checkpoints.

Why isn't it possible after a misclick on a bonus to undo this? What happened now, was that I clicked the stellar converter by accident, instead of the terra converter and when trying to change it by clicking on the terra converter, the latter simply disappeared. Also, if you accidentally click on a symbol corresponding to the converter, you lose the bonus.
Another remark: would it be possible to place an empty slot at the side for pieces already in play, in case you have to rearrange everything? Now the delimiters often make it impossible to get a correct ring, even if you have the right stones.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Yeah, this is rather frustrating. The limiters tend to screw you over. Especially when you NEVER get the shape/colors you need. Not expecting this game to be a cakewalk, but some of the levels deliberately walk you into losing.
I know it's already been said, but could really use a retry or checkpoint feature. Starting over from scratch is pretty impossible.

Keep coming back to this to try for that horrible badge every so often since im a glutton for punishnent. I hate that im a perfectionist.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You didn't just happen to stumble upon the perfectly right piece of ring? GO BACK TO START! Seriously, this shit is unforgivable. 1/5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
good concept, WAY too much luck...makes it a bad game, sorry...now everyone can vote me down since it's a negative response lol
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
in the beginning this is actually kinda fun, because you can actually jockey around sections so you have some small degree of control. By the time you get to level 20, all but 2 connections in the circle have to be specific ones. That's 100% luck at that point. You can't even move things to rearrange them. Then again, I'm not sure why I'm commenting on this; there's already a second one, and this is really old. I just hate that it has a badge. I'm sort of a perfectionist, so that bothers me a lot.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I do like this game but I agree with the other comments about having a save option so when you lose a level you don't have to start from the beginning again.
