It took ages and ages of play to even get close to getting it. When you finally do, it's... somehow not that great. Like, winning a game is supposed to make you feel like you completed something. I feel like I escaped a crazed haunted house where I was thrown back to the basement with each wrong door.

I thought this was going to be a solid 4 stars. The I realized that you lose all progress on the first freakin' loss. Nope. 2/5

With fully random puzzles all levels should be repetative. I trid to do achivement many times and if you go to any lvl is in fact nearly 100% random.

No back button to undo moves, and you're reset to the very beginning if you miss a puzzle? This should be an Impossible badge.

"You are now a "Master dragon slayer Ring specialist Sorcerer delux!!!" and dragons all over the known universe are no longer a threat to you! Dragon victims and their families salute you!" Well, that was kind of anticlimactic.

Ah... Aah... AAAAHHHH!!! HOLY SNOOD I DID IT!!!
Oh my god, my game froze on level 26 with about 8 joker tiles, and I was seriously ready to give up forever. Thankfully it started working again and I managed to make it through.
Almost 5 years between the easy badge and the hard badge, but I finally did it.
My strategy was to aim for quadruples, primarily colors, in the first 10 levels. What that means is that you have 4 of each color. If that wasn't working out, I would try to get quadruples for symbols, which should be self-explanatory. Accomplishing that nets you some bonus tiles and a joker, which makes a tile fit anywhere.
I actually ended up with 9 spares, heh. So yes, very luck-based, but if you can manage to grab some jokers near the beginning, you can at least expand your margin for error.

Died on level 29...zz... I'd give this game 0/5 if it were possible. All it needs is a damn checkpoint or save system.

how can one game be tagged 5mins and endurance? remove 5min tag this took hours to complete a "set" of rings then i died and had to start over... atleast if you don't want to make it too easy save after each set of rings!!!!!!

I do like this game but it REALLY needs a save feature! Having to go back to level 1 every time is extremely frustrating! I cannot see anyone having the patience to get to level 30 at that rate!

Be generous with your free deals early levels, and feel free to use a few redeals (you tend to get them quite often), just leave your slice removers, jokers, and tile changing cards for later levels. Later on you need to get REALLY specific tiles down, and so once you've placed them, you won't need to use the tile removers.
Sometimes you'll need REALLY specific tiles, like double yellows or luna/terra etc., so having a joker or a card that can change colors can be a life saver. I only won the last level because I had 2 sol changing cards so I could fit an extra tile in!
The game requires SOME luck, but there IS a tactic to it!

woah woah wait... I beat a level, then I lose, so I go back to the beginning!?!? considering this game is highly dependent upon luck, that's a terrible feature of the game! one star, horrendous

Just got the hard badge. There is a strategy, actually: accumulate in the first 8-10 levels one of these two combos in every level you can:
- every shape 4 times
- every colour 4 times
You would then start building bonuses that you will use in the last 15 levels. Good luck ;)

This actually would be an awesome game, if only someone would have liked to change some little issues.. save function, checkpoints - please Kongregate someone fix this!

Stop complaining about the luck factor. The aim is just to go as far as you can is the game, not to complete it easily and work on your score. I haven't completed it yet either (lvl 27 though) but I enjoy when a the game resists my logic.

I do not get how this is a hard badge. I have seen hard badges that pale in comparison to this. The luck factor that comes with this, combined with not even being allowed to fail once or you start over. To me this sound like an impossible badge.

I can't understand how to play this game. I match colors and symbols, i create the pools they ask for, match the symbols that give me bonuses and it never comes close to matter. there are zero instructions on how to play

I understand the concept of difficult game and the memories brought by unforgiving ones they made back in the day, not worrying about please the player as much as to show his/her worth. And I understand a true puzzle should be difficult. But not when it is random, almost entirely determined by luck, and whose difficulty involves starting all over again from scratch. That has the sole effect to frustrate and angry the player, cuss a lot, vote your game down and never come back.

Checkpoints at each new wizard stage would help, but it's still a pretty awesome game. And I just realized I can move pieces around the ring after they're placed. This changes everything... (I'm not sure it makes the game any easier, but it does change it.)

Just got the Hard badge today... Honestly, I didn't ever think I'd be able to get it. This should be changed to an "impossible" badge.

Got to level 27 which required a Stellar+Earth brick. Using all my deals as well as all my saved extra deals got me 0 of the kind. Impossible is not "relaxed"

With one side asking for specific shape and the other side asking for a specific color the math goes something like this. 1/4 correct shapes next to 1/4 correct colors Meaning the chances of getting both are 1/16 which is 6.25%. You start with 4 pieces and can place up to 7 pieces safely. You can also use your free deals to make 6 more totaling 17. With that being said it is not too unlikely to do with bonus deals but the levels can have that setup twice over in the same puzzle. Maybe even more in later levels as I am now stopped at 18 due to Luna/blue and Terra/blue on opposite sides. Good luck to any who wish for this badge.

I was having so much difficulty with this game, so I looked at the "Best" comments in the hopes of finding a useful strategy, or at least a helpful hint or two... Alas, no help for me... :(
