Named my first character and exactly 100 days in I signed him up on guard duty with about 23 others, he was the only one to die. That creeped me out, but I still love this game.

Well, I finally got the hard badge. That was ridiculous. I had to find my save file and constantly back it up until I found the perfect method to win. There's not strategy in harder or hardest. You just have to beat the random bad luck they throw against you. Have fun.

2 days into harder mode, day 2 status report 4 people have died of starvation. 1 person died from getting a cold. A COLD!?! and 2 died of bites.
AND, -15 happiness -my leader died.

100 days is the most I lasted without wanting to shoot myelf in the head because of the lousy happiness system the game has in hard mode. You loose a block, they loose happiness, you WIN a block, they loose happiness. You can even get a negative result out of a Party day.
If there is a guy who won the game in hard, hardest or Nightmare mode, please contact me so you can explain HOW YOU DID IT.
