A good game overall though the increase in price you get for ores is too high and not getting the rewards for the missions would balance the money side of things a bit more too. The other minor issues are not getting any money back for buying higher upgrades so it's better just to go with the highest you can be bothered with - diamond is possible with just coal if you're persistent enough and do a couple of easy missions - and it is possible to buy the same upgrade twice (even at the end you can't buy anything except the diamond body and that still costs you even if you already have it!?!
But thank you for a great game... maybe the next one is/will be even better! :D - looking forward to finding it :)

I went to the tree of memory to save and did..something and the tree made a duplicate that followed me around above ground... >.<

I love this game, it reminds me of Motherload but its completely free and more fun and even has a good fun storyline.
Only 3 odd things
1. The money was too easy to get.
2. There weren't enough upgrades.
3. There was an odd Glitch where it never says I've never bought the Diamond drill.

For the medium badge: If you beat the game prior to badges being added, you don't need to start over and beat it again to have the badge awarded if you have your game progress just talk again with the lab guy and thats all.

I found some bugs, like how the shop doesn't tell you what chasis you've already bought, you don't get rewards for the wolfram quest, and you can get the core before you get the quest, which is easier, because all you need to do is talk to the guy again, and you'll finish the game. Other than the bugs, it's a great game. :) I enjoyed it. 4/5

Finishes game last night. New badges are added. "If you beat the game prior to badges being added, you'll need to start over and beat it again to have the badge awarded."

Yeah, ppl, you do move slowly. Until you buy a better drill. Not only does that increase drilling speed, it also increases general movement speed.

Day 46: The suckers think I'm in it for the money and the bling. Little do they realize that every block I mine brings the entire town closer to sinking into the ground. Their world will fall down around them soon enough... literally! Mwahahahahaha

Ever since I finished the story, I became hellbent on mining every single block on the map. Still going as of this comment!

Suggestion: to get the core ore you must go directly on top of it and go right on out or you will melt even with the best gear. Or anything else to make it at least a little harder to get the core ore. It's just too easy to get down to the lower depths. Polar bears may have cool toenails, but being in the cool all the way down several more levels from the last time I upgraded that made it a little bit too easy. Also, I felt like I spent too much time holding down 1 button to go up and down the shaft I made too much. I think that you should be able to go faster through open air, or at least have an upgrade for it. Over all good game though. I enjoyed it a lot. :)

congratulations! you mined the core of the incredibly shallow planet of utopia! have fun on what should now be a slowly dying/rapidly imploding planet <3

I think there should be one more upgrade to the chasis afteryou mie the COre that allows you to carry an infinite amount of ore for those who are ocd and want to mine out every bit of ore sand and dirt.

So if you mess up on one of your first runs, you're dead. The resources you had are gone. Resources don't respawn, so they're gone forever. You don't necessarily have enough resources to continue at that point as the cost of doing the quests may be a bit too high. So yeah, don't ever go too deep, run out of energy, or run out of health early on. It's game over but won't let you as it just brings you back.

Too bad you have to start a new game to get the badges. Having a save game right before the last job results in getting the medium badge without getting the easy badge.

Too my above comment, I even found the game this one looks so Identical too.

This is also the studio that made it, I dare anyone to play it and say they aren't a lot of similarities.

it needs a "you already bought this" price just set a variable and have it so when you buy the gold it equals one saph 2 etc... and then if variable = 1,2,3,4... depending on item then show price as "purchased" or similar it would be nicer if the option for the next best availble upgrade was automatically highlighted when you open the store too

When I got to the shop and accidentally press X, i just wasted my $250 and more on that gold chasis, I wa suppose to buy that $3500 chasis D:

Nice but abruptly ending.
I was expecting a job for Diamonds too.
It requires some grinding at the Gold/Wolfram ore, until you have the best stuff from the shop.
Then it's just "slide through the ground like through butter".
I did the last 2 jobs in about 2 minutes or less, but I was grinding for some 20 minutes to get the shop stuff. :D
Nice game anyways.

This was a very nice relaxing game. Loved the music, and the overall feel of the game. Some things I would love to see though; a steeper incline on the expense of the upgrades, it seemed to easy to bypass the first 3-4 upgrades then save up for the last, most expensive one. Also, while a very nice game, it did seem a little short. I would love to see some after core content, maybe continue to aid building up the town? Also, one idea that might be cool would be if you had to gather materials specifically for special upgrades; such as gathering coal, sand to make glass, and iron and money to unlock a lamp upgrade which would allow you to reveal a wider range of dark squares as you dig underground, or iron, coal and money to make a wheeled bucket that can hold extra ore that you can wheel around. I'm not sure if this would be possible, or if people would like it, but my point is is that I enjoyed this game, and I wish there was more of it! =)
