Hooray, I made the world a better place by helping Utopia and provide mankind with a boundless energy source, all that was required to do is to completely deplete the soil of all precious minerals and metals (Kongregate, make a badge for that, please), destabilize the entire region (or possibly the hemisphere) where the city lies and thus doom the inhabitants of Utopia (and anyone else in the region/hemisphere) to die when the ground finally collapses into a super-massive sinkhole.
Beep, beep. I have earned 514810£ for my Interplanetary Corporate Overlords, time to move on onto the next region.
But more seriously, I hope there is a sequel with more stuff to do, more stuff to buy, more plot and more detailed endings than "congratulations, you gave won The Game". Anyway, four stars... :)

I've bought Smaragd 3 times now, however each time it doesnt buy, yet it takes the money for it. Can something be done about this?

Why cant the people take things a little at a time? For example, the guy who wants 12 coal, do I have to give it to you all at once? Can I not give you ten and then two?

Need to be able to drop ores, I hate getting 19/20 or similar out of a job then filling my inventory because I move too fast and having to sell it all and restart.

An amusing little timesink game, but a couple problems, like the oft-noted 'no need to buy this' bug and the fact that the energy allowance doesn't actually seem to do anything. I have a 100% allowance at the end of the game and still get charged full price for a recharge and saw no difference as the game progressed. Still, solid game in spite of that. 4/5, 5/5 if the bugs were to be fixed.

Seems like you can buy everything twice before the "NO NEED TO BUY" message shows up. Very wasteful if you're not aware of the bug.

I was stupid I read everything and went to all the shops and stuff when I started. Then I got the first job. I tapped the down arrow then nothing happened so then i'm like HOW DO I DIG DOWN! then I held down the arrow and realized I was an idiot

Great game. As others have said:
1) It's short (not a bad thing necessarily),
2) The windmill just doesn't look right as it rotates.
3) The game felt *very* easy just because we already know the formula for winning. I saved up to skip a level of upgrades or two, and next thing I know, there's no challenge. The first few jobs had a good balance though.

A nice little relaxing game. Although there are a few typos and some errors in the shop (able to buy the same things multiple times) it's well made. A sequel or more content would be good.
