Rather easy, upgrades should cost exponentially more. Had all the ultimate upgrades long while before the core quest. Otherwise fun

So by the end of this I'm a robot with an impenetrable diamond body, more money than I could spend in a lifetime, and possession of a limitless energy source... and they expect me to turn it over to the laboratory? I think it's time to dig out the rest of the earth under the city and destroy the fleshy mortals who think I exist to serve them.

so this one shop has unlimited money that can be used to save the town and even make it better, but he only gives it to me if i give him ores.

After I'm done with all of the missions and I max out the upgrades, I tend to get pretty bored. What if after you finish all of the missions you could buy new places that give you new missions? I think that would be pretty fun.

I think the human in this game are really greedy. I GIVE them a source of UNLIMITED energy and they still make me pay to recharge my batteries.

I SAVED UTOPIA! Wait... how exactly did getting the core ore save us? And if we needed to be saved, why did I have to BUY EVERYTHING!?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What I really wanted was to discover the underground kingdom of Grues, who swam out when I discover the Core, and roam about biting chunks out of everyone.

The real objective of the game: Mine the town's base enough that one day it will collapse and kill everyone. I like that version better :)

i actually think this game is alot better than motherload. i found motherload to be boring and iritating, but i enjoy this game.

when inventory is full and the robot encounters more valuable ore it should pick it up and drop the less valuable one

I noticed a bug where sometimes it doesn't say "no need to buy" once you upgrade something, so you don't pay for the same upgrade twice. Because certain upgrades cannot be seen visually, for example, the battery, and saving allows the player to stop playing for a while, keeping track of upgrades becomes difficult.

found a little bug: when you buy an upgrade above the lowest you con buy, you get the upgrade but the shop doesn't recognize it. you still can buy this one and the ones before you didn't already buy.

A very cute game, all things considered. I think there could have been more upgrades, I was upgraded fully pretty early on, and was yearning for more. There were some bugs- I would upgrade, and then go into the menu again and have it say that I hadn't bought that upgrade (when I was clearly wearing it!) But since money was so plentiful, I could just buy it again and again to be sure... ;) The game was pretty short, I could have played longer, but all things considered I have no major complaints and had a lot of fun! 4/5.

This game would be a lot better if I didn't feel like I was wasting my time slowly trekking along on the surface. Either 1) the robot should move faster or 2) there should be less surface area with no buildings

Up Cooling first, dig better ore, max everything. The map is too big for the 10 jobs you have and kind of useless. Good game though, please make a sequel.

I've devastated the city foundation, I've looted mother Earth from its resources, now I'm a hero and everybody is happy... Hmm, yes, this is "utopian"! ;p

If you make the badge require that you need to mine the COre again, then atleast make it respawn on re-entering a world, as it sucks that I have to start again to get the achievement.
Either that or make the achievement so that the COre has to be missing to complete it.

It's like that really old MinerVGA game... ah the memories. Great games could always be bigger, but this still gets a 5/5
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ahhh, sometimes it doesn't look like I've bought something when I have. I get the points, but it's still available in the shoppe
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Delivered the COre and didn't recieve the achievement.
On a side-note, the COre seems like it's nuclear; let's hope Utopia doesn't repeat our mistakes :p

I need to start over and beat it again to get the badge?? Good thing I liked the game so much that the idea of playing through it again a couple of days later sounds like fun.

Not bad. Upgrades are a bit buggy, as it will let you buy the same one over and over again, although sometimes it will tell you there's no need to buy an equal/worse one (this seems to be specific to the chassis for me). Also, the upgrades are a bit redundant. No need for upgraded defense as long as you upgrade cooling.
Once you get a little bit of cash, it's easy to win. There's no real balance...not a bad game, but could do with some polish to be great.

Great game! Reminded me of Motherload, but with no pesky things like gravity, earthquakes, Satans in the basement and invisible deathmines! But I would've liked it to be longer. Also, is Zoidberg in this game??

Only complaint would be that the shop allows you to buy an upgrade you already own, wasted quite a bit of money that way. but great game! 4.5/5
