on my 3rd run, the first 2 powerups were lifes, so i loose my 3rd life at about 99k as usual, but the 2 other lifes got me to 137k

The one thing I want in this game is for when I am in the left most space, to be able to press left and be in the first space, that would make this game perfect.

Auto-paddle and Fixed-paddle don't do anything to your score, since they don't change the amount of points you get per ball. Your streak also doesn't have any effect on that, but the longer you can make your streak last, the more likely you'll get a higher score since you didn't start losing lives until later. Extra lives are nice but missing one just to get one back is pointless; the only thing even remotely close to being worth losing a life over is the triple score, and even then only when you're getting 2k+ per ball(before the triple score is applied).

@ Achievementdude
Actually losing your streak makes no difference. the points per ball (Or square) are determined by the total amount of balls you've hit, not your current streak. That way it really makes no difference at all, except you may hit both, in which case you got an extra life.

A good tip I've found for this game is that you shouldn't sacrifice a life for the 'Extra Life powerup'. Sure, it seems like you're paying nothing for it, but you will lose your combo, which makes life taste a little more brown in the end.

Bytheway, to make the badge easier, there should be hard mode or something like that. + to let them(or him/her) see this.

i had gotten a combo of 67! i felt epic. then i realized that that is probably really low, and someone out there had probably gotten a combo of like 264.

JSilvis has a point. At the beginning if your eyes are moving up and down following the 1 or 2 peels on the screen, you're doing it wrong. Focus just on the bottom, primarily on just the next pal that you need to get. If you try to follow each pel's arc then it'll be really difficult once you get to around +1024.

This is just like the old game and watch Fire. I really love the game. one suggestion make A&D work as well so you can use both to get all the way across on those quick ones.

The other secret is practice. Seriously. Don't expect to get it quickly and be prepared to put some time in. You'll be amazed at how good you'll get.

So the trick here is to look at..nothing really. I just kinda let my eyes go out of focus and only watch the bottom of the screen. When it comes down to it, this game is about reactions and being where you need to be at the exact right now. While the Pels are in the air..it doesn't matter. Not looking at the whole thing at once makes it much less overwhelming at it makes you play off of simple reactions and seeing what is about to fall instead of having to watch 4 or 5 Pel arcs at the same time.

I play this game everyday almost.......it's been 3+ years now....I'm soo addicted.....but I've kind of become a boss at this game :)

Another suggestion I came up with:
I don't think starting with 3 lives is enough. It would be if you could count on any sort of consistency in terms of getting more lives steadily as the game went on, but you can't. There's too many variables. One time I got as many as 9 lives by the time I reached the 8,000 level, and other times I have gotten no extra lives by that time. This variation can be frustrating. I suggest starting with 5 lives, and then keep the current life system as it is, except put a maximum of 8 lives. This should be fair for all.

I would really like the game if the double paddle and fixed paddle powerups were removed and the red paddle when something hits the ground was removed as well. Right now it's just frustrating.

By the way, those are just suggestions and it's totally up to you. You've already made an amazing game that I find really addicting and fun. I've been playing it for over a year now as a time waster, so that should tell you how awesome it is. Keep up the excellent work!

Some suggestions for a possible sequel:
1) The freeze in between the start and end of a power-up needs to be improved. At harder levels, it's easy for my rhythm to be thrown off during those freezes, and I lose lives. I would suggest perhaps having a 1 second freeze, followed by 2 seconds of slow motion before full speed starts again.
2) Make the 3x power ups last longer. They are easily the most important power ups in the game, and it's annoying that you barely get any time with them.
3) Get rid of that stupid double paddle. That power up is actually detrimental to me when I'm forced to get it.
4) Get rid of the red flash when you miss a power up. This is a common complaint that should be addressed because it's distracting.
5) The freeze that happens after getting a power up should also happen after getting an extra life or level up. It's frustrating to watch them fall in a place that is unreachable without that freeze letting you get back to where you need to be.
