I have crossed the ocean twice over to bring the people grain, and yet the small puddle just beyond that sea still vexes me.

What's with all the "best" comments going on about pressure build up? Do people not remember the apocalypse scare in December 21 2012?

"Here lies a traveler between worlds, whose name is unknown. May his curious soul find a way home, like you have found his resting place." guys I think I accidentally found an easter egg... I was just trying to see if he actually thought to put anything up there... Well, I guess the going between the village and the volcano was worth it after all!

Wasting 40 years trying to feed a village and getting "help" even though nothing will happen is about the greatest use of my time, no lie.

haha....now all i can think of is this village going "oh no! we have no food!" then a statue just comes STOMPING his way in,screaming "EAT YOUR WHEAT!!!" then freezes in town square. he woke up every 50 years to scream "WHY ARENT YOU EATING THE FRICKEN WHEAT!?" they made a holiday for his anniversery and everything.

Brennuscalgacus, It's probably referring to the player because he technically travels through the worlds of games, and to people/npc's inside the game, the game is their 'reality' world. So it's most likely that grave refers to the player's death, which in turn leads to going inside the volcano and using YOURSELF to block the lava. Really great puzzle, I almost didnt figure it out.

Everyone here is commenting on the game itself, and while I agree, it is a great game for all the given reasons, I find that the music is just beautiful. I can't find the words to describe it, but it's so relaxing, it's unbelievable.

Absolutely beautiful game. The creature saved the humans by first growing grains for them yet they kept running away. Another act of pure selflessness from the creature saved the humans from the volcano.

1341 B.C.E. King Tut died which is more than 400 years ago and i'm 100% sure Egyptians are more advanced than cavemen. But who cares it's just a game!

I've noticed all of the comments for this game are sarcastic or commenting on how 'boring' the game is, but I honestly thought this game was beautiful, and the statue spirit made a sacrifice to protect humanity. It waited hundreds of years to grow trees and plant things all for us, without getting anything in return. Think about that.
