Major points for originality. And plenty of charm. So 5/5 for those reasons.
Also, because a nice calming game is lovely every so often, especially after you have played Frantic for a while & see spots when you close your eyes.

I thought this was a pretty cool game, although the slow walking kind of frustrated me at times, it made sense. I would probably have laughed at it if the moai dude could go at mach seven. I really liked this story, and enjoyed the gameplay style.

A beautiful and moving game that makes you think about what life is really all about, thanks for making such a calming and thoughtful game. 5/5

Okay, hands up who deliberately wasted all 400 years just to see the bad ending?
Some men just want to watch the world burn... :p

I wish I could enjoy the concept of being ancient without feeling like I'll BE ancient by the time I reach the other side of the screen.

Found a bug...when I went into the second underwater cave (where you first grow the stalactites/stalagmites, I tried to climb from the big stalagmite over to the big stalactite growing down, rather than wait for the second stalagmite to join up with it. I ended up dropping down between the first and second stalagmite; on screen it shows me in the climbing animation, but it's repeatedly playing the "hit the ground" noise, and I'm unable to get off the stalagmites, either by climbing to the left/right or by climbing all the way down the the ground. With that said, I still think this is a great game, and will play again to avoid this glitch. :)

I like gameitch comment. It makes us think and see that Nature has its own lifecycles larger than human lives and because that, we can't see and find them.
Although I've heard about the Eastern Islands statues, I wouldn't never associate with this game.
There is one interesting book called "Clock of the Long Now" that gives us insights to think beyond our years.
I only wouldn't like to wait er... 400 years for the second part of this game ;)

Man just figured out how to get the High score! Incredible game, Stalagmites and Stalactites are the key boys and girls!

i have just started to play and i needed less than a minute to give this game 5 stars and add it to my favorites. I haven't finish it yet i just get trough the first 2 obstacles and i find myself loving it. Long ago I expected a game that I liked as much as this. Thank you very much for do it!.

I like the game, very good. I enjoy the waiting, and slow pace and the overall feel is nice. I would gladly except a sequel with more things that can be done, and a longer gameplay. Perhaps 1000 years?

Found a bug I thought I'd post before I forgot. SPOILER ALERT: PLEASE IGNORE IF YOU DON'T WANT ANY INFORMATION OF THE GAME.
The cave section, where you wait for the stalactites and stalagmites to grow, I tried climbing the left one and moving to the right one when it was long enough. I fell, but still sort of hung on, so I was stuck in one spot while the falling noise kept happening.

My question is how they all survive (not to mention dying of old age) without any food whatsoever for hundreds of years.

I'm very confused. I went all the way to the gravestone and waited for a few years, but nothing ever happened. I thought maybe after a while I would have access to the volcano. So I stood the the entrance until my time was up, yet I wasn't able to go in. I somehow lost, even though blocking the lava is all you need to do anyway. What am I missing?

winter 2013, rise of the stone giants, i can imagine the great reception the movie will get. Giants randomly rising out of the ice

Here lies a traveler whose name is unknown. May his curious soul find a way home, like you have found his resting place. Nice Easter egg past the volcano!

Wish there was more ;( Replayed game and waited at village for cool stuff like disco to develop. Kinda disappointed you didnt do more there

Besides showering you with praise for this amazing game, all I can suggest is a "mute wait sound effect" button. I love the music, but that loud noise is rather annoying.

I was confused by the fact that the chestnut in the last village would turn into dust in my hand, but not laying on the floor. Other than that this is a very nice little game :)

@Chaosinmotion: get the chestnut at autumn, when the boat is on east side of lake, go in water and climb up the boat on the other side.
@the autor: this game is poetic, 5 starts

Clever clever game, good idea, good execution. The only complaint i have is that there does not seem enough game. Still, i can appreciate its minimalistic simplicity.

want a running button for when I am exploring, I understand the slow nature of the beast, but sometimes I am trying out different things, and it is tedious to walk slooooooooooooowly over there, pick up and item and sloooowly back over there, to find out my idea was not good enough...
