Plot twist, he actually created the calamity by blocking off the only natural vent to relieve the pressure of the volcano, 10 years later resulting in the largest recorded eruption in the history of the world.

has anyone gotten a chestnut seed from the village before the end, taken it past the volcano and seen the grave stone? it says "here lies a traveler between worlds, whos name is unknown. May his curious soul find a way home, like you have found his resting place."

Amazing game. Nothing bad whatsoever. Only a few things. First, there should be a dfficulty setting where this would be easy, and the hard mode would have the bare minimum of years. Second, I sat in front of that first village for 350 straight years at risk of th game. NO ONE DIED OF STARVATION. Third an final point, if I am bg a stone being, why cant I move any boulders to divert the stream ahead, or better, WHY WAS I THE ONLY ROCK/MONOLITH BEING?!?! Thank you.

So you sacrifice yourself for a bunch of idiots who don't know how to eat wheat, but don't starve to death? Sorry, I'm just deeply annoyed because this game has potential, but doesn't really deliver.

So in the year 1613 there was this stone behemoth who saved man kind? Why is their no documentation on such a creature?!

Wait. If i have 400 years and after that its the winter of 2013, i started game at 1613. in the 16th century people weren't able to grow wheat and to build bridges? Seems legit.

Why didn't my brother on the far right just walk a couple of steps to the volcano... was he mad at the humans and was just going to let them die?

Found this game to be really enjoyable. A little short, and the movement speed was too slow and frustrating (though I get that it feeds into the patience-requiring nature and speed of the game)

I wonder if it's possible to continue to the right after the volcano if you plante a chestnut there. Excellent game 5/5

Hmm. Not really sure how to judge this. It's short, of course (400-year time limit notwithstanding), it's not at all hard to figure out any of the tasks (there are, what, three?), and it's kinda nice to see the effects of the passage of time, as minor as they may be. Other than that...there's just not a whole lot here, and the message doesn't really resonate. (Sometimes sacrifices must be made...hey, no argument from me.) Reminds me of Pheus and Mor. So...yeah. 3/5
