It's been some years since I last played it and it's still pretty good. A bit shorter than what I remembered but the author has the sequels to play as well.

I don't understand the fascination I've seen with the concept of lucid dreaming. I'm a natural lucid dreamer and it's really not that interesting.

Not bad! I didn't like the statue being an item you can pick up (it being a red herring is unnecessary and could frustrate the player when they beat it never needing it) but overall I felt the puzzles were well made and the story was interesting.

In fairness to my earlier comment, the visual feedback is really slight, but it's there. The game is still a bit of a pixel hunter, but having played through it, it's actually quite good. 4/5 only because the UX needs some work.

Wow that was one of the most entertaining point and click games I have played. Both the game play and the tension are perfectly balanced, with me being anxious but not terrified, and struggling to find answers but not so much so I gave up. Great job to the developers!

I looked at the walkthrough on another tab while I were running the game, and I came back to see that I were dead.. Do I want to continue? :(

@scriptwelder Great sound design! The flickering grain effect is a nice touch; it is just like low-light vision. 5/5 :-)

aaah jumpscares everywhere! i didnt realize this was that kinda game lol. oh well, i like it, so time to get scared by silly things a million times i guess! yay!

This game leaves out the equally important first half of that Nietzsche quote: "He who fights with monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you."

third replay over the past 5 years, i still enjoy it even now... Yet the lack of usage for the gold statue, and lucky coal infuriates me.
