This game is going to be legendary. It reminds me of a combination of Ib, Ao Oni, and LSD Dream emulator. Excellent game. Tell me, what was the inspiration(s) for making this game? The guy that pops out in the dark corridor reminds me of The Grey Man from LSD. If anyone knows what I'm talking about, I think they would agree! And, as with LSD, the "poor" graphics work in your favor and give off a very creepy and disturbing atmosphere.

If you pickaxe the wall where it is written, "Little Cody is lost without his plushie tiger." you go to a secret room where you are finally able to use the coal and golden statue to get a secret item. Thumbs up to keep alive so the mystery of the coal and the golden statue can finally be solved!

i wasn't scared at this game at all, but when i got the diamond light piece and went down the lighthouse i like FUUUUUUUUUUUCk.

Wow you should have been able to wipe the note to yourself with the cloth and it shows a Hidden message on the back saying this is not a dream!

I have not yet found a use for the piece of coal or the golden statue, but I still beat the game. This bothers me. Anyone know the answer?

Man, it was just a silhouette with white dots for eyes but add some atmosphere and a good sound effect and I was totally freaked out. I was genuinely afraid I wouldn't be able to crank that door closed fast enough!

so im walking though a dark and scary corridor after opening a furnace and who greets me? STEPHANO! id say i gave it 5, but its armor games. i ALWAYS give armor games 5 stars.

alright.. i have to admit. this is a game that has you on the "edge of the seat" and is tricky without a guide or walkthrough (which i didnt use). it wasnt all that long or to fast to the point. the shadows walking at you was kinda scary. i liked the ending and the room with all the newspapers and the note that said ''you are next!". amazing horror game 5/5

Big black critter: hit it with the golden statue? That might have some weight to it? Nope. Slash it with the hook? Nope. Kill it with the badass pickaxe? Nope. Must be ethereal and can go through physical objects. Jump out the window? Nope, can't do that anymore for some reason. Close the annoying door you have to crank a thousand times? Whew, that stopped it...
Yeah, this game makes a lot of sense...

Hmm, not to be a spoilsport here, but those creatures really remind me of enigma from dota o.o
Great game though, puzzles werent too obscure, and were quite intuitive. Rarely do point and click games have monsters advancing towards you in real time, i liked that a lot. Cause i'd be like "ZOMG WHAT AM I GONNA DO WHAT AM I GONNA DO QUICK CLICK SOMETHINGGGG"

I find it highly amusing that all the comments about it being "UBER TEH SCARY" and "STEPHEN?!?!?!?!" get +1d, yet bluntly stating that there are far scarier games out there gets a wave of -1's, children and wusses, throw Dead Space their way and theyd crap themselves o_o...

To those looking for the meaning behind the unused items, I may have found the comment.

hey dude the game is pretty scary the first time you see the creature i was like COME AT ME SLENDAH and what do i do at the lighthouse in the end im like 20 SLENDAHS AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH RUUUUUUUUUUUN at credits im like your not going back i got scared enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Trying to kill the shadows so much that I keeped on turning the light right pass it a couple of times. Dear , Scriptwelder. This is my second favorite game that I have ever played on Kongregate. I love the 8bit design of this game. I honestly jumped when I saw the brown guy when I shown my light on him. The only thing I could think of when I got out of the lighthouse after lighting it was F%!k! So my hat is off to you my good sir! Keep on developing many good games.
