Did anyone else die while trying to use the pickaxe on that shadow thing instead of running? I feel a bit stupid honestly, but picks do make decent weapons.

IMPORTANT: Let's get something straight here, Deep Sleep is NOT 8bit. A game can only be referred as 8bit if it has only 16 colors not the fact that it's pixelized. Get it right!
That's right. Most of the images used in the game are PNGs saved as 8bit files but there is some additional alpha blending here and there that shouldn't be possible in true 8bit games :)

Very nice game it was simple and creepy. I did get stuck once cause I missed the bone. So I thought it was a little hard to know what you could click. I kept looking for things and clicking the go back a room. But that was cause there really was not very much stuff to collect. keep up the good work.

I don't do well with scary... nor do I know why I decided to play, but it was fun till the thingy with white eyes showed up and my heart stopped. Lol.

this game was simply.....AMAZING, i have never put the effort in a puzzle game like this beside the portal games. the puzzles while not overly simple were complex enough to make me think but not to where i wanted to give up. the music adds to the creepiness of the entire game which is well done indeed. i have never been so scared of a pixle like that before, keep making game i would for sure play them 5/5

Maybe there's an item I haven't discovered yet and I need a set, but the Golden Statue and lucky piece of coal seem useless. Well, that and the newspaper clippings/rocking horse rooms.

Amazing game, maybe a sequel could be made where those monsters have infected the real world so the protagonist puts himself into a coma in order to kill the monsters from their source.

@SirMustapha While I wasn't entirely scared of it either, why the heck would you turn off the sound? Horror or otherwise, games like these should be considered as experiences, and having sounds is extremely important for getting immersed into a game's environment. What's "good" about this game is that it's interesting, not because it's "scary."

I was playing this game at 11:00 at night, after the face in the room with a scale and gold statue I favourite this game. I am stopping now and will play at day time.

I never thought a pixel game would creep me out so freaking much...
I definitely won't be getting into a deep sleep anytime soon.
