I would have liked to see permanent gun upgrades. The normal machine gun just doesn't cut it once you get the "Max Zombie" unlocked in the progress book.

shouldn't MJ be a zombie already? he certainly isnt a survivor. Pretty good game but there are a few things that need to be fixed if there is a sequel. guns that get replaced by worse guns is one thing and not having survivors spawn where you can't get to them in time is another.

The retro feel is always a win, the controls seem a little sluggish to me but over all I love this game so far... i cant wait for my wife to get home from work so I can put on my Underwear of +3 Charisma... If she say no I'll call her a pirate ghost!

Not that I dont want a challenge or anything but this is really hard, could have different difficulty levels and you could also have permanent weapon upgrades as well as more variety of weapons. 3/5

Pretty sweet game! 5/5 for sure! I only have a few minor nitpicks. Firstly, the searching sound's really annoying. Perhaps a music only option, or just remove it? Also, the coins always disappear before I ever get to them. It may be my computer being weird, but if it is not just me, it would be nice to have that fixed. Even with these small things, I still found myself playing for a while! Great job!

Nicks a zombie! Ah well. I got a great idea though, we can go outside where the zombies are coming by the zillions then i'll have a gun try and pick them off and you video tape me, smart right?

I like the mix of oldschool graphics and gameplay and quirky humor/personality. Definitely a start to something great. My biggest complaint is I want more of everything: a longer 'item tree' of purchasables to unlock including permanent gun upgrades, more characters to choose between (or just unlockable alternative action/specials for the existing ones), more enemies, harder bosses, difficulty modes... Basically, this feels like a game that begs to become a major timesink for a while, but there's not enough content to support that much replay. I probably spent a good hour at first grinding, trying out the different guns/actions/specials, restarting the first couple days to build a bankroll... Then I breezed through the game. I honestly think all it would take is adding more content to make this an action RPG-type game that I could play for hours. 4/5 for now, it'll 5/5 and a favorite for sure if we see a major content update.

Nice to see a challenging game that doesn't spoon feed people. Nice take on the Zombie format. Keep up the awesome work.

This game is good. It's fun, has some interesting ideas, and the controls aren't awkward. BUT...I'm getting really tired of game developers making games unnecessarily long by adding on layers of increasingly lengthy, yet nearly identical challenges. This game is an excellent example of that, requiring you to loop through 10 repeating levels, requiring 3 increasingly lengthy challenges in order to face each subsequent boss. I've beaten the first boss now, and I'm done with this game. It's just not worth the time--an increasingly common trend.

The game itself is very fun, although at times it feels like it's riddled with unnecessary complications and could use a bit of tweaking. But it's still a very solid and well-thought out game. However, the horrible voice acting in the intro should be cut out and shift+deleted. It's so unfunny and awkward to listen to it hurts. No offence but even if you let Microsoft Sam do it, I would have enjoyed it more.

how come only the base level weapon counts for unlocking the level 3 weapon? I mean why would you want to pick the weaker weapon if you have the cash for one you probably have the cash for the 2nd.

To bad the story cant be deciphered from the microscopic comic page. im not going to play it again on your page. And I cant be arsed to find the savegame and copy it to your page's savelocation.

weapons upgrade sholud be perment. also, there should be an upgrade like "increase clip capability", "coins stay longer" and "increase max hp".

i love these kinda games. even thought pixelation was a little before my time. CLASSIC CARS, CLASSIC GAMES IM IN HEAVEN!

I love the premise of the game, and personally I'm a sucker for this type of graphics. I do think the movement should be adjusted, it feels sticky at times, as the main character is easily trapped by objects that don't appear to be in the way.

I don't really get the complaints in the top 5 comments:
@Koitenshin: The normal machine gun's actually quite sufficient in most instances. With sufficient levels in each, Action and Special are basically spammable to back your default weapon. It's really fine unless you have a "let's stick around, pick up everything, and wait for the zombies to flood around us" mentality.
@Hllibsaf: Guns don't get replaced with worse guns. It's the same weapon leveling system as in Raiden. If you have a Machine Gun and get another Machine Gun, you'll have a Machine Gun 2. If you get another Machine Gun, you'll have a Heavy Machine Gun. On the other hand, if you have a Machine Gun 2 and get a Shotgun, you'll have a Shotgun 2. i.e. same => levelup weapon, different => change weapon but same level. That is, you may interpret a Machine Gun as worse than Armor Piercing, but they're considered the same level.

I'm not bashing the fact that this game is incredibly difficult, but I have to say that it's frustratingly so at some points. Either I suck at games like this, or it's just far too difficult at some points. That's just me, though.

An really nice gam: really neat music and sounds, nice bosses, cool and original special zombies. But i think that the restart price is kinda high and the vip.s AI. is reaaaalll low.they'r like "i know i have a shotgun and ,i dont need to reload, but lol theres a zombie bitting my bac and i dont really care bout it!" it srsly.. its annoying to lose an vip. cuz of that.

note to developers: people DONT like to spend their money (even if its virtual) for something that will last for 1 minute...

I was giving this game a 5/5 until I got stuck on Day 09. Mama's Boy apparently has been released, but doesn't feel like coming out. 4/5 for this horrendous glitch.

I guess I'm a bit confused... Do I lose the weapons I buy after every round?
Oh crap, I'm out of ammo! Better throw this on the ground and buy a new gun!
