@Splinter99 I guess you "lost" the game. as sorry as I am,it seems you have no choice but restart, but remember this: keep atleast one ingredient with you so you can heal.takes forever to heal but better than nothing

The difficulty range and jumps are AWFUL. I was level 13 facing uni who was level 8 and he destroyed me, I didn't even get him a third of the way down.

There's a hp bar bug... sometime when you have like 30% hp left showing on health bar... the numeric says 0... othertimes you have like 80% numeric and 100% hp bar... prob the same problem

Alright, after fighting Mr. Trollface I have decided to rate this game 1/5. That was just ridiculously annoying, and while such a descriptor may be appropriate due to the meme being referenced it certainly wasn't fun.

Going with a build based on critical hits can be rather fun. One-shotting guys for over 9000dmg is totally worth it, even if its rare.

And the dice clicking mini game that randomly pops up is annoying. Particularly when you succeed only for it to be a basic attack.

The Heal bonus doesn't heal enough. And it's irritating fighting an enemy with a Health level that's two below your own that has about double your HP.

I take back my previous comment. After observing a few more fights (I used to just switch tabs and do something else) I realized that not only is the damage soooo random (1-500? Seriously? Put a cap on it sir) most of the stats are meaningless as well. Combo chance? I don't even feel it.
A few points:
1. For damage make it an in between thing. For example: 150-170. Currently, the game makes critical damage almost useless as sometimes my regular damage is higher than crit. Even the Special instances are sometimes useless because I will do double damage that is almost equal to my regular dmg.
2. Can we get head mutations as well?
3. Heal power up is too low. 200? Are you kidding me? Make it 500 or a small percentage (10-15%) and I will give you a massive hug.
4. Is there any way we can get stats for boss monsters? Just so we can "prepare" ourselves better. :)
Healing power increased with higher chapter.
Also, you can use less random skills. It's just different. You can find skills without random damage. For example, that 1-500 skill uses in one-shot build (you can kill with 1 attack if you lucky enough).

this game's damage is so random it's amazing, i'm fighting the 5th boss, doing 1's with my normal attacks (sometimes ~500) then all of a sudden BOOM spell does 6500 and he's down

Great game. One thing: I wish there was a debuff indicator that shows if poison is in effect and how many turns it will take. :) I've played it for about a day, and so far it the gameplay is great.

Fun game until I got to Rott. I have all of the abilities, so now there is nothing to do but grind in hopes that teir 9 evolutions will give me enough power to beat him.

Second to last boss is really getting to be annoying. I've ground out 7 levels since I got to him and reworked my gems...still can't beat him. Last attempt he he 30,000 health left. Don't really want to grind 2-3 more hours just to beat this one fight.

I really love the game you've made here. I don't often post to comments; I've been here for many years, and made maybe a dozen posts, counting this one. Although I find the boss fights unforgivingly hars, I think, overall, it's a superbly done game.
And, as you specifically asking for suggestions: I would genuinely enjoy the game more if their were more parts we could customize (with genetic material being a bit easier to get, or the costs going down, to reflect the fact that there's more to do), more monster types. I also would love to see it become turn based, as I'm not entirely fond of the chance-based moves.

Keep at least one coupon on hand. Occasionally you will get an event that requires a coupon; the rewards for this are better than those from the chef.
