Awesome game, 5/5. However I'm a scrub at it and even though I got perfect on almost all the amateur songs, I tried to get perfect on the last amateur song over 20 times but I just can't do it. I gave up. :(

this game you can play with your friend. one plays the guitar with the arrow keys. and another playing the guitar with the keys a, s and d. it is also possible in other super crazy guitar maniac deluxe games.

I was seeing all the comments about the Run 'n' Gun, I was thinking what's the big deal? So I went on it and I was like oh.... screw this.....

i hate it when you get all the notes right but you don't get the perfect badge like did i accidentally press an extra key somewhere? Dx

For some reason I really enjoyed playing this until getting everything perfect and just got stressed just like 2 times.
Very fun game.

1) The songs are horrible. 2) Guitar games suck. 3) It's too "hard" for a "medium" badge. 4) This game was so overrated it became one of "best of 2007" when there's nothing good in it... 1/5, you don't deserve more.

If you're just going for the medium "best of 2007" badge, the easiest level to get a perfect on is NOT the first "easy" level. Instead, try #7 "My heart up your...". It is by far the shortest song (which is great if you miss one stupid note and need to reset - you don't waste much time) and there are enough notes to push to keep you engaged with the song. The more challenging part of it is not bad and only about 30 seconds in, so if you mess up you won't have wasted as much time before resetting. As a contrast, the "easy" level may not have as many notes to push as quickly, but it is about 2x the time to finish (so you waste a lot more time on retries) and requires a more rhythmic guesswork to get the timing of notes right. Upvote if this comment helped you grab that perfect score!

I have spent the last 7 years of my life (from 12-19) trying to perfect this game.
Run n Gun has spent the last 7 years making my life a living hell.

Is the game bugged? I missed only a single note on the second level... got a bronze. Tried again, missed a single note (and never pressed extra to lose points) and only bronze.

Wow. I really hated rhythm action games already. But a Rhythm action game *where the music doesn't even play* is the worst I have ever encountered. This game (and the fact that a badge from it is required for the "best of 2007" quest) has singlehandedly destroyed my interest in completing this quest, and hence any more quests, and hence my interest in Kongregate over any other casual internet game platform). This game isn't just buggy, or bad, it's *devastatingly* bad.

It'd be great if the game could keep up with itself. It might be my browser or something, but there are noticeable lag spikes that screw me over if there's more than a certain amount of notes on screen. It makes levels where it's literally just mashing one or two keys over and over again (looking at you Run 'N' Gun) impossible to complete.

Is there a score list anywhere? I'm aiming for the medium difficulty badge as it is the only one that is connected to an achievement. This game is fun, but I have a bad sense of rhythm.

possibly the worst game ive ever seen, poor graphics, terrible sound quality, way more laggy than any other game ive played on kongregate
