After seeing how easy the badge of the day was I decided to go for the impossible. I had to try run'n'gun twice and the last song three times but it was the easiest impossible badge I've gotten :D

Is it just me or did anyone else get the medium badge before getting the easy badge? Seems they should be swapped for difficulty...

I'm surprised to see how much trouble many people are having with this game. As someone who just got the impossible badge a few weeks ago, I can say it was one of the most fun experiences I've had on Kongregate. It saddens me to see how many people have obviously posted rage comments after failing to perfect the easiest songs. That's okay, AS LONG AS YOU DON'T RAGE RATE 1. Cause this is one of the classic experiences on Kong.

Guitar hero games, which these are clearly modeled after, if you press a button and hold a button before it comes up, it still counts. This game is extremely unforgiving regarding when you have to press the button and gives such a jumble of keys even with easier stuff.

So i guess if i hit a long note a millisecond late im too pro of a musician that im not even going to play the note for the band

I usually enjoy rhythm based games, but played this one on mute to get botd... It has little to no relation with the beat. WTF!

I dont understand why i have no problem in this game even though i have played the drums for 3 years now. In some of the songs, the buttons arent even supposed to match the beat or the melody, and if that is so confusing i can kind of understand it. But for me, a cakewalk.

just dieing from laughing at how bad i am at this. guess i wont get this weeks kongpanian... but hey im gonna keep trying.

I like rhythm games, but this one is not one of those. I am not sure if the key presses, as required, are fitting exactly to the music. Well, anyway, dance pads are way more fun and they usually don't require milisecond precision if I don't want to fail the game completely.

well this is bollocks. Like many have said before, the buttons don't go along with the music usually. This game is practically unfinished. You have to ignore the music at some times to press it correctly

How could this game have avg 4 star? It's waste of time for even bigger frustration. This and papa's are worst game ever build

Also, tip: The arrows and letters don't have to be all the way in the 'hit zone', they just have to be touching it. so don't worry about waiting until they're perfectly in the zone.

-tries first song- Hunh, this isn't too bad -tries second song- Ahhhh!! It's an alright game. It's not horrible, but the difficulty spike is quite jarring. I think the fact that there is only one song listed that is easy difficulty is a bad sign.

I'll wait until tomorrow to get this week's Kongpanion. The rest of the week is a breeze compared to this random button-thumping crap.

For those trying to get the BotD get gold on the first song, when you get at least bronze the other four another song opens up, get bronze on that one then pick one of the bronzes to play until you get gold on it.

The way I see it is it goes from slow and easy to wtf is going on. I understand a lot of people like these games and good for them. I don't have full use of my left hand so i have to look down for the A S D and as soon as I do I'm competely screwed. The guitar maniac are good games for specific people. That being said I don't think these types of games should be badges of the day. Some people simply cannot do them no matter how hard they try.

It surprises me how every single time SCGMD gets played because of Kongpanions or Quests a whole mob of people come and criticise it for it being "bad", yet it is an extremely popular series and those that actually play it and train it instead of cry throughout the entire songs love it. Just goes to show that our society is whining > trying.

As a man who plays over 3 hours of rhythm games a day, i can say this: some of the songs are crap, but some are good. The ones with vocals especially, it took me a long time to notice that the beat is synced with the barely audible background sections. If you can't hear it, you're better without sound, which is something kind of unique to this game: a rhythm game being easier without hearing the beat.

this game is too hard to get award points. I am on amateur setting don't have 1 Easy song and 4 Tough songs out of the 5 selectable.

I give up. I never liked this game. I really wish Kongregate would stop making this game a requirement for things. Like the "Best of 2007" Quest, this game should be a requirement for the "Super Crazy Impossible Badges Maniac Deluxe" Quest. 1/5, and only because there is no option for 0/5 and still get the one point for rating it.
