@yanta, you get 1 award point for bronze, 2 for silver, 3 for gold, and 4 for perfect. You need enough to unlock all 8 levels.

Just as it says. At least 1 perfect and at least bronze in everything else, but I am unable to play the last track because I don't have enough "award points".

I remember this game so much. So many memories, I joined Kong around the time this got badges. Took me forever to get that last badge, but it is possible so don't give up.

for those of you who are trying to get the medium badge; in order to unlock all aamture tracks youll need at least all golds OR one perfect, one gold, and the rest silver.

The Garage Performer Badge description is poorly worded. "8 amateur awards earned" actually means earn at least 1 award on each of the 8 amateur songs. So you will need 17 award points to unlock the last amateur song to obtain the badge of the day.

so how exactly are awards for medium badge counted? I have 13 award points but dont get the badge, i also got a perfect somewhere

Candel: Garage Performer needs at least bronze on each of them. If you meant Band Camper, Bronze are worth 1, Silver 2, Gold 3, Perfect 4. Also note that the badge of the day will be the Medium badge Garage performer not the easy badge.

This game is so finicky! If I'm a split second late it doesn't count at all. I wish there were a sliding scale of exactness - "easy" songs get more leeway WRT timing than the tough ones.

How does the Garage Performer Badge define awards I have nine award points in the first 6 songs? Do I need to get to the last song?

So by having a keyboard that for whatever reason, cannot send an up cursor at the same time it sends a down cursor, I am unable to get higher than a bronze on certain songs. Maybe this is a fun game... I'll never know...
