I almost got perfect on train wreck, but the music was so good I started to head bang. Until I hit my head on the desk. D:x

Finally got the impossible badge! Here is a tip for betrayal of fate. That one part when the notes are clustered together and is going up and down, move your left hand to the left arrow key and just use your right hand for the right up and down arrow key. It makes the song so much easier!

After playing SCGMD4 and getting its ridiculous hard badge, the impossible badge here is cake. I still think this game is more enjoyable due to a more balanced difficulty curve.

Awesome game, it was very funny(even though we all have our rage moments xD) and kept challenging from start to finish. The songs are all excellent, The guitars are well designed(Holy Hell <3) and the difficulty is just perfect. Took some time and lots of training(SCGMD4 FTW!), specially with songs like Betrayal of Fate and Speedfreak, but the Impossible badge is really worth it!

I see comments asking about the sequel and there is already one, just type in SCGMD4 in the search bar of kong and you will find it.

@Gameguy, the fact is that everytime there's a BotD around, it atracts a lot of noobs who spend their lives trying to spread hate everywhere, and they'll always complain about everything they can and rate the game low, without even playing it or wanting to play it. I have a considerably bad computer and internet connection(well, not that bad, but bad when compared to other countries, as i live in Brasil), and i can say i have no lag here. Also, is it really possible for someone to find In Your Eyes "way too hard"? That song is too damn easy! You just need a bit of practice, but for that you need to play the game, something these noobs don't want.

I'm seeing a lot of people complaining about things that aren't even problems. If you want to leave a song in the middle of it, hit retry then back to menu. If you want to mute the guy shouting your combos, you can do that before you hit enter to begin a song (and it will stay that way until you unmute him before a song). This would all be readily obvious if you read the buttons, though I do admit they could be set up better.
The people saying that the songs are too long may have a point however, though some could argue that's more of a matter of opinion as well.
I won't try to address the problem of lag or difficulty, though I will point out that even though I already had the easy badge I achieved the conditions for it by getting a perfect on the first song within three tries.

What I want to see next in SCGMD Series is a remake of SCGMD 2.This could be awesome ! ! ! (I like SCGMD3 too but SCGMD2 has a special place for me)

OH GOD Plan A just totally fried my brain
Also, I now have a craving for Mars bars and Mentos, neither of which are currently present in the house. Thanks a lot. :P

Imagine if you were at a rock concert having a blast, and out of nowhere this tactless guy in the background kept saying "not bad, super, weak". That's the sort of experience you get with this game.

At no point do I feel like I'm playing a guitar or even slightly musical
(and I play in real life).
BTW the 90s called and they want all their songs back :P

this game is so poorly designed, honestly it should be booted off the site -- why is there only two "easy" songs at the outset? and even then to get a silver requires more than an easy go -- the rest of the 'beginner' songs are almost impossible - make the arc of the game ridiculous - even if i had the talent to unlock new songs i wouldnt want to cuz it would be even more maddening -- plus a music game that is easier on mute??? here's the punch line - ive been playing guitar for thirty years and could play these songs with less practice time than its taking me to get my third friggin point!

Drowning out the music whenever you make a mistake is a bad design decision. Neither do you get a feeling for the song and honestly most start to sound rather annoying, only serving to distract you. 2 songs in I just muted the game, which made it easier, but boring. The music should be an asset, not a hindrance in a rythm game to keep your rythm and motivate you to keep going, where this game failed utterly. Add some slight lag issues (small, but enough to mess with perfect medals) and even the nice animation of the guitarist avatar only makes this a 2,5/5. Without the music issue it would easily have been a 3,5/5.

Yeah 1st song is the easiest. I picked the 2nd song because it was only 2 minutes instead of 3 and messed up a lot more than the 1st song which was over 50% longer. Badge of the Day down leaving this game as its not my style.

Apparently even after ten plays I'm not good enough to earn even one award point on the first song. I'll try again tomorrow for the next BotD.

That moment when you miss a note, fall back to weak, and constantly get up to not bad only to be reminded over and over that you're weak.
