Played muted and managed to get the badge. The first song was pretty boring since it was so long, but the one minute song was pretty damn hard without audio for rhythm.

i quit. i quit. i quit. got easy badge, the end. i quit. stupid level of difficulty. plus bunch of times it tells me i missed a command when i can say for a fact that i did not. and this happened on song 1.....the easiest song of them all.

Too bad this game isn't like guitar hero in that the keys seem to have absolutely NOTHING to do with the weird music playing in the background. :(

HOW THE F DO YOU MANAGE TO CREATE a 2d game with nothing but moving symbols and manage to cause lag??? COD doesn't have the lag this POS has. Who would download this???

you should make one of this but for something like steam, maybe with a flash version for internet users, but a full game with lots of songs would be awesome

"Got lag? Download!" Why, because an option to change the resolution was too freakin' complicated for you? Get bent. 1/5 for pure laziness.

The exact sweet spot for a button to count is so tiny I can't hit it. I suck so hard at this and all the Guitar Maniac games I am very glad the Kongpanion doesn't require all the days to get it.

The game isn't saving my progress. Not "I log off, log back in, and it's gone", but "I finish the song, go back to the songs list, aaaand it's gone". I PERFECTED THE FIRST ONE ON MY FIRST TRY, AND I WOULD LIKE SOME ENTITLEMENT.

The real challenge is having a keyboard that you can actually use arrows and numbers without any problems. These games are really awful on Kongregate.

Is this game supposed to be played by humans?
Because even the easy badge is pretty hard.
And impossible... well, it's probably easier to learn how to play real guitar, or at least make a bot to complete it for you even if you don't know anything about coding at the present moment.

Also, since there appears to be no "Bug" button, Ive had the keys not even register and break combos when the Announcer speaks, Ill look into a way to shut his trap, but it does break the arcade type feel the game had

even in 2008, making a music game without calibration options is really risky, especially when it's made in Flash. still an extra easy impossible badge, just ignore the original judge line and set up one yourself.

"SCGMD3 is not be compatible with some (if not all) Linux builds as well as some keyboards due to key registration issues." ... Well, bravo developer; nice sentence structure btw, "is not be". The notes are delayed by a fraction of a second from a stutter lag. That actually matters when you make the tolerance as tight as one or two pixels, which many actual guitarists have said is unrealistic compared to playing a real guitar. That's bad enough, but there's also serious and common problems with keys not registering when you press them? In a game where you have to hit many in quick succession for a long enough period of time? Even the easy songs are an enraging chore, if even doable at all, because of the lag plus bad keys. What notes do manage to get to the one or two pixel area acceptable to nail it may not even register a hit just because of faultiness of the game itself; seems pretty self defeating. These have been the problems with the whole SCGMD series and #4 isn't much better.

It's a real shame that future Flash updates totally screwed up the timing for these songs since even a small amount of lag ruins the entire experience, because this definitely had a lot of care put into it. Flash just isn't the right program for SCGMD.

the game tries to be similar to guitar hero and stepmania but the timings aren't great and they don't match the music to the keypresses very closely making it difficult to play at best, and impossible to play at worst. Could have been better
