I don't understand why they don't just give me the ball all the time, nothing good ever seems to happen when I don't have it.

Just some quick tips for playing efficiency;
- Spend the majority of your stars on energy drinks early on (if you want to train your skills) before you level up, as they fluctuate a fair bit. - When you shoot from medium distance put a bit of bounce on it as the keeper dives low to the ground and you sometimes bounce the ball right over him. - Take higher contracts when you can, more stars = house sooner. - Don't make the boss too angry or he will bench you which upsets your fans. - Finally, try to get assists when you can because they make your team happy but don't be afraid to be greedy when your teammate has a defender right behind them! (especially when you get paid well for your goals)(you can score goals from 30m+ with some good aim)

The difficulty shouldn't raise based only on a player's strength or star rating. Perhaps a league should have its own "star rating", so the challenge (and salary) would depend on a combined (player+league) star rating? That way the same player would have a tougher time but the bigger salary in higher leagues.
The star rating can even be attached to clubs instead of leagues, that will make gameplay more realistic, but, I'm afraid it would overcomplicate things.
But I'm not complaining, the game is great! And the "older brother" is also great, though I'm far less succesful there :)

Great game! Couple suggestions:
- One of the skills (Pace maybe, or vision) should make it so you get more oppertunities in a game.
- Transfer offers could be a bit more logical.. why would I want to go to a team in a lower division at less pay?
- I agree with whoever said assists should be worth something. I'd love to see league leaders (and my place in them) as well.

New Star Soccer is my favourite game both on here and on my iPhone, and I LOVE the recent changes to include corners etc. but there's one thing I don't understand- why does my relationship with my sponsors seem to constantly go down no matter what I do? It's impossible to make money because I keep having to spend it on NRG drinks after trying to improve my relationship with them. Any chance you could modify it so they stay happy if you play well?

I get four chances, score 3 goals and make one midfield pass. That results in a -1 team rating? Do they not like winning?

The rating system at the higher ranks is really, really skewed. It's pretty retarded to get a 5.0 or less ranking for nailing every pass and getting a goal at the only opportunity given but whoops! it was a team-friendly assist instead of a risky glory hog 50-yard bombardment through six dudes. Getting penalized for playing intelligently is silly. Oh, and unnecessary ridiculous increases on energy drinks -- it'd be grindy as hell even without that.

Dear Teammates and fans,
I apologize that my 4 goals, two of which came in extra time, were not enough to make you happy, I feel that 4 goals off of 7 possessions is a very good percentage. Perhaps, just perhaps, shoot the ball more accurately when I pass it to you, and pass me the ball...MORE? And to the fans, I AM THE ONLY GUY OUT HERE DOING ANYTHING!!! DONT YOU GIVE ME -5!!!

So, I pass to a teammate, then he takes the shot, it goes high, bounces off the top bar, goes to another teammate, he scores, assist. Wow... just... wow.

There should be a 'murder' option at the girlfriend. In her opninion my boss doesn't care about me, my team mates have a bad effect on me and the fans of my club are idiots... :D

I have found two small bugs:1. if you use the training points from a drink on a maxed out skill you lose that point without gaining anything (if a skill is maxed the button should be grayed out); 2. in the minigame for the pace skill it happens oftenly that the passer shoots the ball so far away that it's unreachable even by his teammates (in my opinion if his pass is not caught by his teammates we should get the point)

A multiple save option would be great. It would be nice to be able to start over without having to delete your old save.

i feel the sponsor bar goes down to quickly at higher star levels. it seems i need to spend time with them every week to keep the bar up, maybe it should drain faster or slower based on how happy the fans are with you.

I love this game, only complaint I have is the price of sports drinks, kinda painful when a single can of soda is more then what you make in a week.
p.s Also remember that its not about bringing your team to stardom, its about bringing yourself to stardom! Remember you are the super star! =)

Is there a reason why my teammates watch my pass come near them before thay decide "maybe I should try to get that"? It's really frustrating to see the player move after the ball has rolled past them.

I think there should be end of the season awards. Best Goal Scorer, Best Goalie, Most Assists, which give stars. Please hit the + if you agree and start a petition that awards give stars.

How can get more sponsors? I have all items, included "private island" i have 25 star rating, i won leagues and cups on England and Spaing with an average rating of 9.5. I have 100% relationship with boss, team, fans and girlfriend... Wage $39 and $8 per Goal. The lowest energy drink cost $74... But only have sponsor for boots and sports drinks... It's weird :/
