I would like to see the strength of the teams, especially while choosing a new team at the end of the season. It really sucks to end up with a low performing team.

One week, the girlfriend asks me to go down for a swim with her, making me lose energy, forcing me to buy the drink, costing me money.
In the next one, she asks to take my scooter for a ride, crashes it, costing me money.
And then in the next one she complains that I'm not spending enough time with her, forcing me to lose energy, buy another drink, costing me more money.
In other words, the girlfriend is easily the most realistic part of the game.

Can someone please explain why this game is so addicting? I don't understand the leagues, am not sure on a strategy, and seem to be leveling up way to slowly, but I am compelled to start another match and watch the little text boxes waiting for the chance to make a good pass or take a shot on goal. It's so wierd.

Girlfriend, I'm sorry I haven't spent time with you for weeks, I'm too busy earning money to pay for the increasingly expensive energy drink that now costs almost as much as an apartment. Teammate, don't get mad at me, I didn't pass you the ball is because I think it's more efficient if I hit the goal by myself.
Fans, please don't hate me just because our team didn't win, at least I made a lot of passes, I just don't know why whenever I passed the ball for my teammate, he immediately lost it for some unknown reasons.
Oh, sponsors, I work my ass for every single game, making fans crazy over me, and yet you'll not give me more contract because I'm not stylish enough. Tell you what, when the energy drink cost more than a tablet or a music player and almost as much as a TV, you know why I'm not in style.
I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH I begin to say stupid things.

My only real complaint would be that you get some type of reward for winning a cup or the league. Either it be a picture of a trophy, some monetary reward etc. It does not feel fulfilling at all winning the title or a cup other than that a definite 5/5 game.

My teammates repeatedly miss wide open shots from 5 yards out. They really need to be improved, especially at the Premier League level.

You: "I was over 50 yards away both times, with my teammates standing shoulder to shoulder with opposing defenders, and a strange gust of wind was blowing in the stadium"
Boss: "I'm not taking any excuses, you should have run up closer if you couldn't make the shot from that distance"
You: "But for some reason, my non-kicking foot gets glued to the floor every time I get a chance to kick. Well, at least time stops when I am deciding where to shoot the ball and how hard to hit it"

Instead of raising the price of energy drinks every time your star rating / salary increases, why not keep the price static and put a limit on how many drinks you can consume per week? After all, drinking too many of those things can't be healthy.

I don't understand why they don't just give me the ball all the time, nothing good ever seems to happen when I don't have it.

Just some quick tips for playing efficiency;
- Spend the majority of your stars on energy drinks early on (if you want to train your skills) before you level up, as they fluctuate a fair bit. - When you shoot from medium distance put a bit of bounce on it as the keeper dives low to the ground and you sometimes bounce the ball right over him. - Take higher contracts when you can, more stars = house sooner. - Don't make the boss too angry or he will bench you which upsets your fans. - Finally, try to get assists when you can because they make your team happy but don't be afraid to be greedy when your teammate has a defender right behind them! (especially when you get paid well for your goals)(you can score goals from 30m+ with some good aim)

The difficulty shouldn't raise based only on a player's strength or star rating. Perhaps a league should have its own "star rating", so the challenge (and salary) would depend on a combined (player+league) star rating? That way the same player would have a tougher time but the bigger salary in higher leagues.
The star rating can even be attached to clubs instead of leagues, that will make gameplay more realistic, but, I'm afraid it would overcomplicate things.
But I'm not complaining, the game is great! And the "older brother" is also great, though I'm far less succesful there :)

Great game! Couple suggestions:
- One of the skills (Pace maybe, or vision) should make it so you get more oppertunities in a game.
- Transfer offers could be a bit more logical.. why would I want to go to a team in a lower division at less pay?
- I agree with whoever said assists should be worth something. I'd love to see league leaders (and my place in them) as well.

New Star Soccer is my favourite game both on here and on my iPhone, and I LOVE the recent changes to include corners etc. but there's one thing I don't understand- why does my relationship with my sponsors seem to constantly go down no matter what I do? It's impossible to make money because I keep having to spend it on NRG drinks after trying to improve my relationship with them. Any chance you could modify it so they stay happy if you play well?
