Awesome game! I love the concept of making your people happy so they'll have better souls when they die. The class tree was a bit confusing though, like how the people advance through it or what the actual bonuses were for picking them, etc.

I gain 120 people per day, and days take quite a bit less than 30 minutes...so I'm stuck gaining and gaining and gaining more and more and more. I guess I made a bit of a mistake having 1200 life. Probably should have gone for more land/speed/sight instead.

Why not just make the game leave at least 1 empty field between each building, it would fix the problem about having no room for resources

I think I speak for everyone here when I say, the new updates are GREEATTT!!! However, the quick to build buildings need to be fixed, i have almost no space to get resources from. Is it possible to fill up youre current land space with buildings and not have enough souls to get more land? I almost have.

Detailed instructions for latest version: ::STATS::Speed = Walking/Gathering speed, Life = How long they last, Sight = How far they can see, and Land = How long of an area you have for them. You get an extra Storage/Orchard/+/Crop/ for ~11 points of land (15 farms at 170, 16 farms at 176)::GAMEPLAY::To create a guy, you can either drag and drop where you want, or double-click/space to spawn just below the soul area. And that's it! Upgrade the above stats, and live many happy, long lives. ::PROTIPS:: Once you get to the higher brackets for how many guys you spawn, it's helpful to use both double click and space to spawn the guys much, much faster. Also, once you get to sight 100, it's pretty much as good as it's gonna get there, because you'll be spawning enough guys to cover the map, most likely. Rate up if you found useful!

When I get to higher levels (and longer lives) I start to daydream and then forget to reinvest souls when all my workers die. A 'death' sound would be really helpful, or maybe even the music muting when no workers are running around (the music is quite industrious sounding and would be great as a theme that's playing when workers are running around and then mute when there are no workers). As an alternative, if souls harvested after every 10 worker levels that would also help me pay attention and give me something to do instead of just waiting for workers to die.

Life seems to suffer from SERIOUS diminishing returns. Since it costs nothing to summon a soul(cost one, returns at least one), having him out longer doesn't really get you anything in a rate of return sense (once he's out long enough to pick up 4-5 things). Unless leveling does something cool besides returning more souls....

Been hooked since beginning, and waiting for the daily update is my new joy. Can't wait to see how the game will turn out

Being able to zoom out would be good, wouldnt it'? oh and have so they build more kinds of buildings like houses maybe? makes them happier or something

You should add a system similar to TD games to select what resources to grab. For example, an option for "Closest" (The one used now), "Rarest in sight" (Sometimes I want my guys to level up faster, and grabbing dirt instead of the gold behind it isn't very efficient) Or maybe "Only Iron", "Only Gold" Etc. But of course with only gold first they will grab what they can to level up to grab gold.

It would be nice if the storage places were farther away, im at a point where there are only 3-4 resources in between the orchards that grew out

you get 1 extra soul for every 2 lvls the worker is above 1, thus, while 5 lvl-3 workers will yield 10 souls, 1 lvl-21 worker will yield 10 also.... several workers vs a few long living ones

Maybe there should be an option to downgrade a stat too (for the same cost it would be to upgrade). It might be useful when experimenting with different settings & strategies.

great idea with great potential but here are my ideas for what could be added
1. cosmetic upgrades. idk how this could work it being 8 bit and all but maybe every so much in an upgrade there appearence changes. *every so much life they turn from stick figure into a god among men stuff like that
2. make it a centralized town that gets bigger better and cooler. i mean the 4 building town loses its appeal after i have about 10 of them
basically give us something to work toward to besides seeing hundreds of men running like coyotes on crack

Hey... I have an idea. What if you don't upgrade your health at all, and upgrade everything else? Then just hold down the space bar, and the characters will still collect a fair amount of resources due to the speed. The max characters you can have on screen with a health level of 10 (the lowest) is about 440. They get you about 2-4 souls each time, so you'll get a lot if you just use something heavy to weigh down the space bar. Also, make sure that your computer is fast and has almost no lag, because the game will lag out on the best of the computers.

The game is obviously unfinished, but I think there might be some merit to it. The biggest thing it lacks right now is a purpose. There is no definable goal, no reason to continue on. Timi2 said his farm was 207 land, so obviously he wanted to expand as far as he could. I personally wanted cheetahs on crack, so I have 200 speed.

I think maybe a monitor to show how much of each resource we have. Possibly a decision on how to spend the resources, like which building to upgrade and how. Maybe different characters like for example you could buy a farmer for 1 soul. but then you could buy a farmer+ for 3 souls.

Very good concept and game :D 5/5
Oh, and you can upgrade Speed, Life, Sight and Land if you hold down 1,2,3 or 4...Very useful after a while :)

300 human at one time in a large land. Lags. The result? Light speed human. Darn I love this game. Waiting for the save feature.

While this is an ok game, without some kind of goals it gets dull pretty quickly. You need short term gaols/rewards to keep people interested.

well the greatest flaw of any game is the lack of a winning condition. if you can't win (or lose) then it's not really a game. i mean, after you discover everything in a game, if there's not a winning condition, then what's the point in playing ? Anyway, i rated it 5/5 because i think it has potential but i still think it's really early steps for this game

i feel like this should be one of those semi-afk games. What i mean is this: the people should either breed or players should put in an "auto use souls as humans" and let them farm on thier own while your afk

the village expands way too much... should make some buildings upgradeable in stead of just making more of them... also main building could use some more upgrades... overall good anti-idle like game :)
