id like to see one similar to this that goes through time lines -prehistoric--modern--future and of course everything in between (I.E. bronze age) really like this game and im hoping for a part II soon.

Chence of them building a house needs to be fixed. I mean 500 land and 2 (TWO!) houses is somewhat pathetic. Also it would be great to spawn people by tens (if not hundreds) — waiting for thouthands of them to spawn is annoying. Great timekiller otherwise. 5/5

It seems builders will give priority to high level buildings, hence the difficulty to aquire the "spawn 1000 doods" achievement. Once you unlock it though, the building of habitations resumes normally and you can rely on spawn only to produce people, given a wide enough land

Such a fun game!:D
o3o I just wish you could put down more then 1 human at a time...even when I was holding down the space bar, took forever to put down my 2,535 people...

Does the speed upgrade DO anything anymore? I can understand if it was slowed down, but I'm up to 1460 speed and I'm not seeing a difference from 200. It would be nice to know if there is a cap to it (don't let me spend thousands of souls if there is), if it's just MUCH slower to increase that before, or whatever, but does it even do anything at all now? I don't actually know if the speed has increased any since I started.

Oh, and one thing just occurred to me, if you do "single buildin that upgrades instead of building more of the same" as a fix to the building problem: I thought you might have to allow multiples of stashes AND houses, but I don't think that's the case. Just have the people spawn randomly across the map, instead of at the house. :)

Hmm.... Gold or dirt... Gold is more valuable.... But the dirt is closer.. Gosh... What should I do... I WILL GO FOR DIRT!

If there's one thing I dislike about this game, it is that you, the player, have no control over what is built precisely. I want more enrichment buildings, so I have more resources to make many people worth my time. I want more religion buildings, so lower levels yield more souls. I want more supply buildings, so I can get more guys out. I want more housing, so the game becomes more idlable. What do I get? Recreation and Refinement.
Also, the resources are gone before you can find out what they do.

This is the most literal form of a "God game" I've ever seen. People work for the "God" and are happy to do so, and then civilization gets better.
Amazing.

Where can I check where the worker's happiness is? I already got the medium badge but couldn't figure out how to get easy one. Is this a glitch?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Would it be possible to add some sort of "inventory" feature to keep track of exactly how much of each resource you currently have? It'd help with finding the correct class setup to optimize building wants. :D Or is something like this already under consideration...?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Maybe an option to "kill" the workers, and cash in on their current happiness levels. I upped my life to 300 & I'm wondering if this will ever stop.

This game is so fun! For the newbies playing this game, you don't have to do anything but click space to summon people. The people will automatically do all the work. When they die (the green bar is life) you gain a soul to summon another person again. Upgrade the stats: speed, life, sight, land to further help the people improve the land. Speed=how fast they build. Life=how long they live. Sight=how far they can see to detect items. Land=how many blocks on the screen that can be searched for materials and built on.
@the creator of this game: I would recommend designing the building to be more elaborate (bigger buildings preferably with names) and a definite tutorial or even a guidebook on the side to reference material would be helpful. It would also be nice to decide who does what, but I still like the way it is. Overall, this game is really fun!

I love this game, but it would be nice to be able to spawn more than one at a time. once you get above so many souls even holding the spacebar takes waaaay too long...but i love it XD

I've confirmed that it's possible to get all 31 achievements in under three hours if you play correctly. I can do it reliably in under two, but not every single time.

These people are probably happier than us. Sure, they have short lives, but do they kill each other, otherwise fight, disagreed, discuss, annoy, destroy things, change the flow of nature, complain about internet or steal? No, they always are trying to improve and live a happy life, in community. This is how our world should have been. A great game if you think outside it's box.

maybe a smoother look and a menu, oh and there's a bug with selecting souls to produce, sometimes they stick to your mouse and prevent clicking.

I am not sure what I did or how to play.... or even what I am supposed to do... but I just got the Apocalypse Nao! loot... so I guess I can stop.

u need to add animals, weapons, weather, way more materials. i seriously love this game and it has a lot of potential.....plz dont screw it up lol

Without any control on what buildings are build, or even knowing when what building will be build this can hardly be called a game...

Figuring it out took a while, but I think I have a good setup. First, keep life at 120. This makes workers die every 3 minutes, letting them "swap out" as new workers are born in houses, keeping the population stable.
Keep sight:land at a 2:3 ratio. For example, at 300 land there are 200 buildings, and 100 resource plots; 50 on the left and 50 on the right. So standing on the border of the town, a worker only needs 50 vision to see to the end of the world, which comes out to 200, or just keep sight=buildings in the info tab. Normal workers will stay near the border, picking up low quality items. So have a few investors/royals to pick up the good stuff far away, but main mage/wizard.
Also, buildings are proportionate to land, and NOT built in groups surrounding stashes. If you have the materials, a building will build automatically when you add land, 2 buildings for every 3 plots. Your stats will start to skyrocket as you add more land, so don't worry about it starting slowly

I think it's about time I shared with you some things I've discovered while playing this game:
After a bit of timing, I figured that each day lasts 200 seconds (3 min 20 sec). That means that an apartment will spawn every 40 seconds.
A stash will appear as every 11th building. You can use this to ensure you always have a stockpile at the very end of your city.
The best strategy, as firedragongt said, is to increase land, speed, and sight to overkill levels, and decrease life to 10. Leave your computer on overnight (holding spacebar if you feel that's not cheating...).
To determine how many souls you need to reach a certain level, use the following:
souls needed = (final^2 - initial ^2) / m
Where m is 10 for speed, 20 for life/sight, and 6 for land.
If you want to know exactly how many people will be on screen at any given time due to ONLY apartment spawning, you can use the formula:
max = 3*(life*apartments)/80
If you want to know how I got any of these formulas, just message me!

I love how wood comes out of the ground, not chopped from a tree, but they still have their way of crafting orchards.
