I regret writing that, as once I had started, I saw that there were MAJOR updates, and Now I realize if this is not the full version, it will arrive soon =D

theblade180: You do realize that with newly added content, more bugs will be created and need to be fixed, right? That's just part of making a game. You fix your bugs, make new content, which makes new bugs to fix.

It's a great game, but please focus on making the ful game, instead of fixing little bugs, really though...There weren't that many bugs to begin with.
Please please PLEASE finish the game.

@Alfarno and Miul: I was seeing the same bug last night. Has something to do with the scrollbar maybe as passing my mouse over it seems to be what breaks it.

I think you need a way to condense the people down into groups. Having them in stacks will reduce lag once the population gets in the thousands.

actually im running a game where i try to max speed and land (sight = 4 x land) but just let life on its base of 10. runs pretty well till now, and no lag at all cuz of no overcrowding.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The new building aren't replacing each other '-'
i have 2 religions, 2 parks...
Buuuut, those new upgrades are awsome!
i lost my old save, but the game improved a lot!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
8600 Land right now, Max pop of 21235, and about 4000 souls added in daily from just housing. It's actually crashing my game because my computer can't handle that many people.

I have an idea: Intelligence: Makes so that the people will go the the most valuable resource they see. I guess if you upgrade intelligence they would start to ignore some resources over more valuable ones.

Oh look gold! oh wait, not high leveled up enough. *after a while* finally, gold, here I come! Oh wait, there's dirt on the way, it closer so I'll take it instead! Oh right, gold! *falls over irn* oooh, iron *takes it* oh right, gold, gold here I come! I nearly have you, nothing can stop- *dies*

in "Why are we gtahering this, again" logger is referred to as lumberjack. not much of a bug, but Siveran might want to fix that.

after a while it becomes impossible to read the descriptions of building to the left of the stash. building to the right are fine. reloading helps.

Well, I know I have really high life (1200+) but that should only be around 30 minutes. I have waited 2 hours and their health bar hasn't moved at all. Just thought I'd throw this out there to let you know.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Hmm. I seem to get this bug that makes all the building explanations disappear... Anyone else got this same problem? Then storage is the only place where my workers stash the stuff... I can't operate them at all.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Your bug fixes caused the experience level to cease dropping after a while. Right now my like level is 34 and my people gain levels and die but the life bar never moves.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
one strange thing is that some souls seem to just dont die though their healthbar is low all the time, and this adds to a point where the screen is full of souls just not dieing with healthbar at bottom, and no income due to the fact that nobody dies. but i have only 300 in life. so they should die after 7.5 minutes, if the info is correct that they live for 1.5 seconds per skillpoint. might be a bug?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
although I realise now that I should have left the game on since I have enough life for my guys to live longer then 2 days so the auto spawners could have supplied my max anyway lol

The more time he spends at work, gathering dirt and rock sand clay for his people, the more souls he may potentially bring in his death. And so, do you see how the cycle continues? Death begets life, which becomes death…Yes; bring in more and more souls! MORE! Then, when they die, you get MORE. To, uh...spend on illicit drugs that will forever tainted and changed the souls and those they bare.
But you did the right thing, right? You helped them?
(And end. Wow, I need to go to bed so bad...typing coherently right now is hard.)

You'll start with a small portion of this. You must prove to me you are handling the soul population adequately if you wish to receive more land. You will need plenty of souls to help form this new settlement! Further, your capacity for souls will tell me whether you are ready to, ah...begin some testing on a few, select souls. I have some ideas that might help improve the soul population as a whole, truly, though a few sacrifices may need to be made. Oh, forgive me, I haven't explained. These souls will work these fields, day and night, with little break. Don't worry; it doesn't hurt them in the slightest. I promise! After a time, they fade away in a mystical green glow-but they leave behind the power they gained in life! Take your newly born souls and care for them. When you see them fit to enter the world, simply place the soul upon the ground, and viola! A new soul, happy and ready to help towards the souls booming little village! (See pt3 for the last one! I promise!)

So while playing this game, my mind was buzzing along from the ambien I took to get to sleep tonight. I blame it for any incoherency in my normal, or at-least-herency style of writing.
This game could be described as:
Do you want to make the lives of the dead happier? Sunnier? Healthier, even! Here at Soul and Farms inc., we'd like to offer you the chance to manage these poor, wayward souls that have come wandering into our arms. I assure you, they are crying for joy, for surely you are here to take them to their happier life, yes? Right this way!
Over here you can see the fields. There is some magic in them. Perhaps it is left from the souls of the dead, after they fade away from even this plane...but regardless. All the materials your souls need will be provided by this field. But I cannot let you simply run ammock in this nice, lovely forest now can I? (See pt2)

I love this game! It's like watching civilization spawn. :3
Always looking to make future lives happier, and trying to live happy ones ourselves... with increasingly complex society.

Hrm, are the two buildings to either side of the beginning storehouse not getting upgraded for anybody?
Also the rollover description text doesn't always get triggered for some reason for me, but eh, not a big deal.

@firedragongt, it's 3x that. My fault for telling you wrong. Oh and for the love of Greg don't rate this comment up to the top, keep it at 0.

To answer my own question earlier, speed upgrades do actually do something, just much slower. If you take the square root of your speed level, you can find what speed it would be in the last version. What this means is that a speed of 2500 is the same as what 50 use to be, or 10000 is what 100 was.

Classes are unlocked through achievements, which are obtained through obtaining a certain amount of total materials or souls (Hotkey "X," scroll up and down the loist with arrow keys, hover over achievement to see what is required). The level is mentioned in the description of the character in the class tree (Hotkey "C"). The classes also have to be selected (white outline) in the class tree for a character to become one. Click on a building to see different information, no click to see what it is and does, two clicks to see what resources are needed to upgrade, and three clicks to see a humorous description. A fourth click will bring you back to the default message.
