Also, when adding an element to a tower, why not add a pop-up that tells what combination the tower will be after adding the element you're mousing over?

a) clicking on enemies is incredibly hard at higher speeds.
b) How about a pie chart countdown timer somewhere to tell you when your next cake will drop?

@chitzk0i: hey, i try to sell 20 or even 30 cakes on the start, if the productivity skill was upgraded to max, you will get enough cakes later. also use time machine and splash tower quite effective.

On level 10, I need to finish with *at least* 38 cakes. Even at max production, cake production is only high enough to replace occasional leaks, so I can only sell 12 cakes, as opposed to the 30 I usually sell. That's only an extra 300, meaning I could get, what? One level two tower?
How about some tips on dealing with the earth effect immune sharks?

@chitzk0i: upgrade your productivity skill on upgrade skill menu is an important, also sell your cake first, so you can get enough money to build strong tower

The perspective thing really is a killer for me. The story seemed... blah, but I was willing to put it up with it for another Mushroom Revolution style game... but this didn't deliver.

This game has some good ideas, bu falls sadly short. The ability to sell health for money is very creative, and might be good to implement in a future TD game. You can't invest in cake production speed, however, so displaying one star to be a production level has little meaning. It was frustrating to place a tower on the edge of the island only to find that the towers can't even reach the water.
Minor complaints: The instructions were very long but not informative enough for their time. The game is called Cake Pirate, but you defend the cake FROM pirates, not play as a cake pirate. It wasn't completely clear that the enemies would swarm the water instead of the land. The instructions don't even mention the "Upgrade Skill" button on the main menu.

swarm tower that fire 5 shots is bugged. when the 5 targeting ends, it sometimes fail to target properly and let a monster slip through untargeted.

Very nice game. I love the influences I am seeing from several games and game genres. Awesome!! I have only played the first level so far, I am diving into more...looking forward to seeing the combos n stuff

PS: The perspective is an incredibly stupid component of the game. Level 1 sea can't even reach the sea from the South shore.

I have to rate this low. It could be a pretty good TD, but the upgrades being pointless, not having much explanation (not that it really needs it) and the perspective problems ruined the gameplay. The ripped off music and other small things just contribute a little to the suckishness. 2/5

What is this incredibly lame delay when your target kills something? If my tower hits a creature and just does damage it continues to rapid fire to the next creature. If it kills the creature, it takes a break to contemplate the deep meaning to life and the moral responsibility it takes on by deciding the fate of others?
