Duck this ducking 25 large diamonds badge, it's too luck based. Get no more than 24 the weeks you can reach them, and you're ducked and have to play the game from the beginning again.

No wonder it's so difficult to find pirate treasure: I had no idea they buried it beneath Earth's crust! How did these guys even find the time to sail the Seven Seas with all that digging to do? (I suspect they were huffing the contraband nitro).

First go for max depth (drill, hull, fuel) and buy one nitro early to gain extra subsidy for R&D from the government. Third mole destroys small rocks, fourth destroys big rocks. Just keep on going, get all the achievements when you've got (nearly) all upgrades and the hard badge should be easy.

ok. so I was going to complain about how 10grand should set you more than a motor boat, but then I looked up. the "best" ending would just get you 4 years of proper matenince of the motor boat

Honestly, the hardest part was guessing how deep you have to be to use nitro to reach 26k without going too deep and stalling before you can use it. Got 178k, all trophies, hard mode badge on first try.

lol got 24 with one more big diamond i could see... then 31 big diamonds in the day before last xD though i wouldnt make it then i see the trhopy awayded xD

get to 2600 feet at least 20 times but never met more than 24 large diamonds in any single run... the medium badge seems impossible to me. It would be great if there were an update increasing loots on the way.

how I got medium badge: follow some of other people's advises. focus the 3 main upgrades which would be Drill strenght, hull, and fuel tank. I only put like 1-2 upgrades on steering wheel to save money. save the 2500 depth trophy for last day. when you have 9-10 days left you should have the 3 main upgraded, and possibly working on maxing nitro, mole, and radar too. you should have a nitro upgrade though about 1/3 way of upgrading the 3, so you can have extra money and depth for extra cash. I spent one day to get the coins trophy, then one day for both treasure chest and sapphire, refresh if you didnt get it before the animation about fuel out/pressure. then I think i spent like 2-3 days on the ruby/diamond/big diamond trophy. if you refresh enough like me you could get ruby/diamond in one day. then you should have like 2-3 days extra to farm big diamond. aim for 20-31 per day, refresh if it is low. count if you need to.

Apparently if you activate a nitro boost right before you run out of fuel, the run end script plays twice, meaning twice the profit.

It's hard to get the cruise ending, normal people like me only get a fast boat. One time I got 152 340, but taxed to 148 670 so i get the fast boat.

I can get over 300 000 (for example, I just got 315 000$) without all the trophies (actually, I didn't get the 2600 feet one). I restarted after the first week if I didn't get 50$, to buy two fuels right away, and a steer. Then, after a few week, I get a NITRO, I think it can really help to upgrade fast.

Finally got the hard badge! If anyone is wondering about the dollar amounts assigned for the trophies, here are the totals for each category. Collect Trophies (top row) = $102,000 / Depth Trophies (bottom row) = $64000. I think the two biggest depth trophies, along with the big/small diamond collect trophies, are pretty important for pushing your total up. FYI: I got the badge w/ $309k post-tax, and I had all of the trophies.

Ending 5. Ignore collectors trophies focus upgrades (primarily drill, hull, fuel) getting as deep as you can to the big diamonds, an occasional nitro, steering and radar upgrade will help you along the way. With 7 weeks, hopefully sooner, you should have maxed everything except maybe steering, so get down to around 2000 feet right along the final change in earth density then strafe laterally and farm those diamonds with the mech mole for the final weeks. You should make at least 30k per dive and the connoisseur badge while you're at it. Save your nitros while you dig, try to keep vertical dodging the occasional rock. Constantly send out the mole, prioritize the highest value treasure in the area or send it along a line that hits multiple caches. Good luck!

My only complaint is that it's too luck based. There needs to be treasure to even collect, particularly early on when you can't go far.

Fun game and a true "hard" badge. It's odd for the trophies to be worth money at the end but not during the game but it works mechanically. I love the salesman laughing at me if I don't have enough money.

finished less then $4000 short of the 300k!!!! and on my last run i could have gotten more money but was going for the 2600 depth and missed it :(

When you get to the point where you level off to hunt for giant diamonds, it's helpful to go left. Your instruments block a bit of your view on the right side of the screen (but on the left side be careful not to click the Kongregate logo - it'll open another tab/window)
