Description
Longbow is a flashback to the roots of good 2d platformer shooters, such as Contra and Duke Nukem (2d).
This is a gamejam version of Longbow, which was assembled from (almost scratch) into somewhat playable state in 1 week for TVTropes gamejam.
So please keep in mind that game isn't finished yet, half of enemies are missing, final boss is anything but finished, stages not fully fleshed out, there are bugs and inconsistencies, alongside of poor engrish grammar (not a bug, but a feature, eh?)
I will upgrade it to final version with bigger level 1 and 3, and more polished gameplay within a month or so.
Note at least half of music tracks (intro credits, levels 2,3, boss themes, last cutscene, outro) are placeholders.
Known non-original music sources:
Level 1,3 boss - heavy barrel level 1 general mix.
Level 2 - Tyrian 2000 - Tyrian theme.
Credits - super C ending theme.
How to Play
Arrows to move, Z to shoot, X to jump.
