BEST GAME EVA!!!!!!!!! even though this is like the first time playing, the old games still rock! ppl now are into the new games instead the old. maybe if the games like space invaders and pacman were reinvented, maybe it would become #1!

they don't speed up enough when you get down to a couple...that was the fun of the original...easy as pie until there were 2 guys running across your screen and you couldn't move as fast as them and still had to somehow kill them...the original adrenaline rush!!!

I think it's wrong that you get a extra life after every wave. but other than that, awesome game...

Man, stupid people saying this game sucks cause its has simple programming, they are on the same level as people who say Ocarina of Time sucks because it doesn't have good graphics

First, THANK YOU Solo Cow for making an exact replica. I haven't played this game in nearly 30 years, and that was on a table-top arcade machine. CLUCK YEAH! Also, 100% agree with CS1. "Kids these days"...

It's very good, I would suggest two things however: One, A mute button. And Two: Implementing API so we can share scores. Otherwise, Love it. Always loved space invaders. :D

Wow. The amount of idiocy on the comments is ludicrous. I can't tell if people are trying to be facetious or not.
This is one of the first ever video games. 'NO UPGRADES THIS SUCKS.' A game is about fun, not about the complex upgrade system. 'EASY AND BORING.' Perhaps that's because this was an arcade game. It was supposed to be some money for one go. You wanted to make that money count. You did your hardest, and got results.
Kids these days. If something isn't realistic graphics and unrealistic violence, they despise it. Respect your elders. This was one of the greatest games ever. If you grew up on N64s, Mario, Sonic, all in pixelated form, then you'll get what I mean.
Oh, and benbluebone5, they've done that. It's an actual game disc. I own a copy. I doubt they still make them though.

I got about 26000 points. After a while they can pretty much shoot at you point blank and it becomes too random to win.

Nice effort but gameplay is not the same as the original, the aliens never speed up like they do in the original. Still better off playing it in MAME! :)

As you cut through them they are supposed to move faster. The last guy should rip accross the stage. Other than that, it looks close to the original.
