Loved it. The story is adorable, but it only makes sense if you play parts 2 and 3! If you're confused, keep playing. That's not the end.

Tip: If you know how to look at 3d images (those with 2 images next to eachother, you cross your eyes and they become one 3d image), you can use the same technique here. You will instantly see everything that looks out of place. :>

I love this game so much! Great job, Sommboo!
5/5
The music is bright and happy for the music box, and sad and remorseful during the sadder parts. it applies perfect tones for the game, and the difference were easy to spot, but harder to find than some. When the hint would help me, I would say, "Oh! Thats what I thought, but I wasnt sure!"
Marvelous. Again, 5/5

Man, that scene with the kid pinning the butterfly ensured that I just played the most disturbing game on Kong of all time.

The story was touching and the music was soothing. My only problem is there were a few times when I clicked on a wrong arm or literally not even a hair over and it counted wrong.

This game was too cute. I found it on accident. The music was so calming, the story-line was really sweet, and the meaning is obvious. 5/5

Killing a single butterfly can make a difference in your life.
It's better to embrace the beauty then to harm in order to keep it.

This whole series is awesome 5/5.
One comment though... super creepy at times when music and the time travel thing combines. Also, I feel sorry for the girl who would have married the dude if she didn't turn back time. I mean she and he douche boyfriend made fun of him in the past. Why should she get the chance to turn back time and have the best of both worlds?

You know, upon revisiting this series, I'm starting to think it's a little disturbing that this woman has a magic box that she can use to rewrite time to make sure she gets the man of her dreams. I mean, it was cute the first couple times, but by the fourth it's starting to seem a bit much. And what about the poor woman who marries the artist here? What happens to her?

I really liked this! The artwork is good, the music is good. What I really liked is that the differences are, well, real differences. Like, her hands are held differently, something is missing, etc. In so many of these games the differences are annoyingly minor, like, one line in a wood grain is slightly different.
One minor annoyance is sometimes the hitbox isn't quite big enough; I click on the part that's different but it registers an error because I didn't click on the right area of the difference. Other than that, great game!

hello :) ...
i just finished it ... nice game, nice story ... looking forward to playing part 2 and part 3 :)
it would have been nice though if you could look at the (finished) pics again ... thus only 4 stars!

I found the game so nice that I played it a second time, and now I was offered other differences mostly :) I had no problems with the mistake detection. And many thanks for the hint, eDGe87! The 3D-view really works marvelously :)

*gasp* On the third picture, the girl was trying to kill that butterfly. I better go contact PETA to make a game about it.

It is a shame that the detection areas are a bit too small or don't actually cover the entire part of the picture that is different than the other one. Lost points to that problem four or five times but otherwise good so still a 4/5.

I think you are a talented writer as well as a skilled painter. And you used music very well, that's why this is not only a well done comic. Great job.
P.s.: You can appreciate the story only after playing the second and the third part, as someone else has already noticed.

I really liked the fact that there were more differences the further I went. Lovely art and an interesting story! Now I'm off to play parts 2 and 3.

@Nattehine i understood it completly. it shows us her life when she caught the butterfly. she ends up sad because she relizes she loves the guy we see get married. it then shows us her life without catching the butterfly, where she marries the man she couldnt when she had caught it,

Some of the environments got trippy at points. Wrecked havoc with my usual strategy of letting the differences pop out at me to start, because my eyes kept getting drawn to the weird perspectives. Also, when going to click on the tab for the second game, I accidentally clicked on a Silent Hill LP. Coincidence?

there is a realy nice story going on in the game. don't get it all but it's nice to follow it. I bet it's something out of somebody's real life. o.....and the music......"like"

i dont really get the development of the story. first she catches a butterfly and then she has a wedding dress on? it doesnt make any sense. sure, the arts and stuff looks nice and the music is beautiful, but it's kinda hard to grasp the red thread in the game.

Cool game ,but sometimes it's lag like in 15 lvl when you click on her end of scarf game doesn't accept it as answer.
