okay I'm not going to ask you to make an upgrade system because I'm understand that the idea of the game about skill! but can you make us find a extra life along the way?

I really like this game! The only thing I can recommend is some sort of additional incentive. Big games companies, with legions of writers, artists, musicians and programmers can afford to make big elaborate stories to spur the player on. Most flash game makers, however, work in smaller teams and have to make do with achievements and upgrades to keep the player going. So no matter how wonderful the game is, those who are not enlightened enough to like something for what it is may find it fulfilling.
Needless pseudo-intellectual "observations" aside, awesome game and you are awesome to hold on to your opinions!

I am fine with no upgrades, but I think it'd at least be cool if we could get new costumes and stuff like that. If we got more gold we could get more costumes or different colors for my parachute or other things like that. Not upgrades, just something to make it look a little different. I really enjoy the game, though.

I suppose I'm okay with no upgrades, but I don't like having to keep track of my double-jumps. Either give me double-jumps or don't.

excellent game. I needed some time getting used to controls and gameplay but now it is double the fun. What I like is the difficulty. Dont make it easier. I like the challenge.

Kind of reminds me Aladdin on the Super Nintendo running through town beating up guards. Collecting treasure and using clothes as parachutes. Except you throw apples instead of daggers for whatever reason lol.
I like it =) The challenge is there and the replay value is high for me since I love high scores based on skill instead of luck.

Loved the game:) But there is one thing I'd like to see.
You know how everyone rages about not having upgrades?
I think it'd be cool if we could spend our coins on different skins, heads, daggers or even scenery.
Not that they would have bonuses (ruins the concept), but you could personalize the entire game:)
+ so everyone can see(if you agree that is)

My first thought when I've begun running is 'What if I don't press enter? How far will it take me to?' I'm still running. :)

Well, instead of upgrades we could just buy new armor or swords just for customisation, not getting stronger.
It could work greatly and would still need skill.

If people want upgrades, and you want for this to be skilll game, why dont you make unique looks for rogue? You can change the colour of your rogue, weapon or something like that? :D

BTW, the deadly path could be more challenging. This game is great, but too easy. I'd like more difficult challenges.

F*ck the haters SG, theyve gotten so spoiled playing on this site due to game developers caving in and giving them upgrades. Do none of you remember mario, or sonic? You didnt have upgrades in those games but you played them until you mastered them. This is the same. Stop bitching.

I can see why people are giving it a low rating, because they probably only played a few runs found it hard and stopped playing. I too at first found it a challenge and therefore did not like it, but once i got better i found myself loving it, but still can't get beyond zone 5. No it does not need upgrades as you can think of the in game items as upgrade to a certain extent, any personal upgrades would ruin the game, as it is all about timing and reflexes which comes from the player not the character. 4/5

True, this game is challenging. The thing with upgrades is that it makes players play the game longer. I love a good arcade game though, and I may be one of the only players who think this is good without upgrades. I would appreciate more checkpoints though.

cool game, the fact double jump comes and goes blows, like nearly game ruining that it is an item and not a baseline ability of the character, the weapons being a pick up is also irritating but acceptable. all in all great idea, poor execution i got bored after zone 2. 2/5

Glad to see another game from Soulgame! I loved soul driver and was anxiously awaiting a sequel. Although this is not a a sequel it is pretty close in the spirit and style of the game. BRAVO!
