This game is great! I don't think it needs upgrades (and I love upgrades) - You're right about mechanics being enough. 5/5!

Wolf it just takes awhile, I'm nearly 100% complete and if you just go for the places where there are like 5 enemies right next to each other in a row you can get it easily.

Regarding the "Kill the Brute near the sign" achievement — where does the Brute appear near a sign? I've been scouring levels 4-5 for an appropriate target, but I can't find one. Thanks!
No it's not ! You have to know well the game sequences, master you skill, including fall down from a platform, double jump, go back, use parachute, and of course throw daggers. Cheer !

I think it will be nice if there is multiplayer...Like racing who will get better reward...or who will survive longer...or maybe an arena where the player one go from left to right and player 2 from right to left and the 1 player is trrying to kill the second...or IDK...there are many things that can be done for playing multyplayer and it's not impossible

Ffs, this game isn't hard...the trick is to get high combos. Honestly, we should all go back to when games first started and the difficulty was turned RIGHT up.

if people really want upgrades, you can make the character move slower and jump lower, and let him upgrade it until he can run and jump like it does normally

I'm not crazy about the find the flower & girl to earn double jumps. Infinite double jumps would not change the game very much, and like cevgar said, I find myself rationing jumps which just adds a huge degree of frustration because you've always got to find the flower and girl (which are sometimes placed in places inaccessible without a double jump. Better to have infinite double jumps and make the flower/girl thing give some sort of bonus.

Once you get to zone 5, you're almost to 5000 anyways, so it's fine if you grind the first four levels, its like two minuets and you're in zone 5.

Oy! I think I have a bug report to make! I don't know if this has been reported already or not, but it happened to me several times: when finishing a level, if you're so far behind as to be off the screen (but not behind any obstacles or anything), the game cuts to the swan dive animation as usual - but then the next level starts with another, identical copy of the final building from the previous level, and only after that does the next level really begin. Sometimes there's something wonky with that as well - once I was taken straight from the end of Zone 3 to the beginning of Zone 5 with the Black Captain - even though the sign said "Zone 4" like normal.

I personally am fine with not having upgrades, but i can't be bothered to keep grinding the same 4 levels and not managing to get much further

helpful tip on most platforms you can press down to fall off it and go under it it helps a lot to know this you need it to get past some of the obstacles.

Could I make one suggestion? A restart button when you pause. I don't know about everyone else, but if I start off poorly I'd like to be able to just pause and restart without having to go back to the menu. Great game by the way, I'm spending way too much time on it.

While I do enjoy the upgrades, I wish that after you lost your armor for the first time there was a little bit of invincibility time where you couldn't attack, but you couldn't be killed. That's how I keep dying because I'll get shot by a damn archer just after a gold knight slashes me.

Anyway, I thought it might make the alluring Souly seem more sympathetic if she reacted to Our Hero's demise, too. Maybe raising her hands to her mouth in alarm or something. Just a thought that occurred to me when I fell down a pit right after handing her a flower, and she just stood there, waving good-bye! 8P

10/10 fantastic game!
I was a bit upset and might have gave it a lower score because of the no upgrades thing
but it seems the game never becomes stale with great enemy design which the further you get the more challenging and unique they are and some fantastic ideas like those leaps of faith from the AC series ;)
you need to do a sequel for this particular game :D if you arent already working on a rogue soul 2 since this can become one of the funnest and most addictive games around with the inclusion of a black market which there you can buy visual gear , effects , attacks ( dive bomb , smoke cloud ) which can be used once so it doesnt make the game too easy and also the sequel could have new backgrounds like tropics , ruins , city grounds and all that :D!!!

Well done. Top game. Difficult! Thank you for not including upgrades. I don't like the 'play until you win' genre. Visual upgrades would make it even better.. 5* anyway.

The game's pretty epic, but there is something that could be improved. I find it very frustrating having to exit back to the main menu each time I die. Perhaps you could add a Retry button to the death screen.
