@Wolfy3847 are you kidding me? It is insanely easy, just go british, make a single line of about 8 redcoats, then save up to put rows of puckle guns behind them.

Great game with good concepts and all that. But really, really difficult. Even on the easiest missions. Not getting a lot of money may have something to do with that

interesting game but it "freezes" the enemy units stop moving, they stand still and just keep turning. 2/5 (deserves 4/5 but the "freezing" happened 2/7 games)

so the game worked fine for me at first, but now all of a sudden i just see a white screen. was playing the 3rd easy map as france, screen went white and had a gray "i" surrounded by a circle. now when i try to load the game i just get the white screen, no "i". anybody know a way around this? i played this game a ton a long time ago and really enjoyed, would be greatly appreciated if somebody could help me with this

I have noticed that when I buy the last wall upgrade, when I am France, my money goes away and it doesn't show me having the upgrade, but when I go to upgrade my wall it lets me upgrade it.

Needs a campaign as a nation in like the Napoleonic wars. Maybe Prussia beats Napoleon all by themselves or The french conquer all of Europe.

When I upgrade to Earthworks, it'll upgrade my bastions, but still won't unlock the earthworks for building, and when I click on it again, it deducts the unlock price all over again :(

sometimes you'll end up with enemy soldiers firing no-where and not hitting your buildings... out of your defense's range

The gameplay as the British is too easy I think. Skip right to readcoats and then to greenjackets, you don't even need cannons. The sheer rate of fire and the fact they have near double the range of the next best infantry means firing lines of them slaughter everything.

the game was fun until some engineers got stuck trying to destroy my barricade (outside the range of my cannons and guns). BUGZ! :( Still 3/5 for effort though.

Fun game. Takes a while to figure out, even with the instructions, but that's half the fun. If you can afford it, skip the conscripts and go directly with catonists: the rate of fire is faster and damage to the enemy is better. Also, be sure to put barricades in front of palisades when engineers arrive. This gives you extra time to kill them before they cause too much damage. In fact, if you put a couple just on the edge of your soldiers' range the engineers will try to work on those barricades first and you can take them out earlier, meaning less damage and by extension, less costs for repairs.

This game definitely needs more badges... and maybe even a sequel! I'm hooked on this game. I guess for the sequel, you might make it in a different time period? Or just add more stuff weapons and traps. Possibly more countries... anyways 6/5. Love it!

the range of the cannons dont actually changes or am I wrong?
but really cool game, always found that era of warfare wasnt present enough in games (in general)

nice game, but the engineers stuck on a wall, move like crazy and i cant do anything.
On other parts of the game i see that some enemys die without getting hit (maybe time based) but why then the engineer stuck and dont die after 10 min waiting and clicking the speed button? I dont like to restart a game because of a glitch like that :/ (wave 14/20)

I suggest this game should be calibrated to make it more difficult at higher levels. With stone fortifications and batteries of puckle guns, especially with achievement upgrades, the enemy can hardly lay a finger on the defenders. Maybe the attackers could be allowed some artillery too.

Wait a minute! By clicking on the thing that looks like a calendar at the top left, it causes attacking idiots to stop blasting away at stone fortifications and change their positions.

One glitch that really should be fixed is the attackers standing out of range blasting away at stone fortifications for minutes on end without the defenders being able to do anything about it. Some kind of limited interaction during a round might help with this. (I'm writing this while some French idiots are shooting a ton of ammo at some fortified pillboxes manned by short-range grenadiers. Maybe they should eventually run out of ammo?)
