Other than using mass of English Sniper and Tier 3 infantry the only funny thing is using some rare grenatier since they are low range and sometime tier 2 infantry is better but it is an engigneer killer :) of course cannon are useless since infantry is much easier to use. Only place where cannon are useful is when the attacker can come from different way so you can focus your cannon in a single road. but it is too much tricky to use and not worth it since sometime enemy take a different road if you try to trap him

The balance is way off. The extended range from the British beats anything else. Puckle guns are the only cannons worth buying. Anything else is pretty much worthless.

t's a decent game, but it's still buggy. Several times I've had the game freeze on me when I was trying endless mode, once on wave 28 and once on wave 34. I tried hitting the path reset button but it didn't do anything. The whole thing is rather frustrating to be trying to set a new high score and just have the game freeze.

First level freezes on me before I can finish it. Last time it happened on wave 20! and the last few enemies just stood out of range and there was no way I could kill them!

Why is the tutorial so LONG? Is it not possible to introduce gameplay in 10 waves or so? And in the event that I'm about to lose but want to retain whatever progress I've made, can't there be a way to super-speed up the round? It's been 10 minutes and the round is still going.

Guys - you can click the icon of the Calendar to make the attackers re-route themselves. It may not help but often does fix problems where they're just out of range.

Needs an "abort wave" option, or just kill off all the attackers after 60 seconds. I still get stuck, mostly with engineers. Have also been able to build a bastion, but was not able to put a cannon on it because something was in the way ?!

how to play this: 1. build a fat wall from the cheepest baricade to prevent enemy from walking left or right. 2. enemy atack that big wall for no reason. 3. game stuck enemy turning round and round out of range. 4. give up

Wave 33 of the endless mode seems to have enough enemies (~40) so my infantry (~200) fire gets so CPU-requiring that the game freezes.

Wow! Several times now I have managed to get to the last wave and then all the enemies just seem to stand there doing nothing. Pressing the calendar button to force them to take another path does not seem to work. I like the game, but would like it more if there were no bugs like this. Sigh. Starting game over once more...

How to get Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulty.
Easy- Play as British and rely on a buttload of greenjackets
Medium - Play as French and mix close range slaughtering infantry with long range slaughtering puckle guns
Hard - Play as Prussians and use any tactics
Very Hard - Play as Prussians and don't use puckle guns.
Might Be Impossible - Play as Prussians against British every time, and for whatever story reason you can think of, you don't get any artillery, only infantry.

for everyone complaining about Greenjackets being the most op. Tell that to the Puckle Gun. More expensive yes, but nothing survives it.

Bug: I have built > 200 Gardes Francais (but fewer than 500 of them), and the price for hiring one is listed as 85 in the battle menu. However, when I see how much I pay, I'm being charged 95 for one of them.

Dude they really need to fix the enemy sniper units they destroying my base and my guys cant do anything about it so annoying.But besides that its a awesome game.

anyone else had the problem where the game crashes and freezes with the guns still firing? everything else i the game works such as menus and highlighting units etc but the game just stops

I failed at the easiest level, but I succeeded on the hardest level, without having any boosts from the achivements... wtf game balance?

I thought you can rotate the cannon, so I placed one at the very left side of the "choke point". Didn't seem to be very helpful. LOL

The game seems to crash/freeze in a repeating loop once I get the puckle guns going. It's happened to me in both Chrome and Firefox. Not sure of the solution but it's unfortunate since I otherwise enjoy the game. Played it years ago on a weaker machine and don't recall the same issue back then.
