ehh... i hope this isn't common thing but i had 9 achievements to go on this whole game, played since the badge of the day but now my progress, all of it is gone, anyone else having the same problem?

winning strategy: leave a wide opening to the stronghold with rifles on the sides (possibly level3). the enemy will mostly just walk through and get slaughtered without shooting back. too easy. AI need to improve

Not a bad idea, has potential. But seems very unfinished. The balance is off, it's too easy and seems that I get achievements for not losing units even when I think I do lose some? And other glitches like that.

Well, this is awkward, there is a way where enemies can sit where I can't hit them, but they can hit me. Oh, and they don't to any real damage... it's been almost an hour now.

Great game! Right up to the point where the enemy broke through one small fragment of my wall with long range riflemen, who stood out of range of my units, in an area a cannon can't hit, and now its broke because they wont move forwards and are just shooting air through the gap they made, and my units can't hit them.

Really buggy and really bad balance wise could be fun but the game is really bland and the upgrade system is too easy to abuse, you really don't ever build tier 1 stuff, 4 tier 2 soldiers solo like 6 waves then you can get tier 3 stuff which solo the game specially the "snipers" (srsly snipers with attack speed?) it's from 2010 though flash games got much better since then.. got me playing for 2 hours so it did it's thing 3/5 only cuz it was fun.

also it got to apoint where the wave came, all I could do was hear gunfire, the game screen began multiplying the green line of sight and froze. music and gun fire continued on... this was around wave 12

cool game only I wish the font was more legible. My eyes have trouble with it. I have a form of dislexia and it's a bugger to read the text like this. still a nice game

I'd love to see a sequel to this that involves all the fortifications and weaponry of that period. you'd have to build huge star forts (look it up) and engage huge armies. would be sweet!

Disappointed. I like tower defense type games, and this one was promising, but the gameplay is really annoying. You can't determine the range and width of weapons before placing them, so you have to place them then delete them (which costs gold). You also can't turn cannons to slight angles... only straight? That said, I was going to give this 3 stars... but then I ran into a bug where an attacker just got "stuck" on a used trap... and was out of range of my weapons so I couldn't do anything. That's just awful.

Damn buggy. First it froze in wave 30 of 40, enemies just vanished and wave never ended. Now I have two low-rank enemies shooting from too far away, not moving and slowly chiping away at my army.

Why not name the units? I'd love to play with specific regiments. These standard names are a bit disappointing? Rather than conscripts, you could have Landwehr, instead of infanterie you'd play with Fusilier, and instead of Greenjackets (appalling name) you could have King's German Batallion. There are so many unique and interesting units that could be added instead of these basic names. Fun game nonetheless.

Maybe there is a way to "hold fire" for cannon... use some barricare to slow down enemy so that they will approach cannon later

best money spent on cannon? 200 for a colverine and 100 for disband it... it cost me only 100 to build a single cannon to earn the achievement! :D an useless achievement maybe.

Other than using mass of English Sniper and Tier 3 infantry the only funny thing is using some rare grenatier since they are low range and sometime tier 2 infantry is better but it is an engigneer killer :) of course cannon are useless since infantry is much easier to use. Only place where cannon are useful is when the attacker can come from different way so you can focus your cannon in a single road. but it is too much tricky to use and not worth it since sometime enemy take a different road if you try to trap him

The balance is way off. The extended range from the British beats anything else. Puckle guns are the only cannons worth buying. Anything else is pretty much worthless.

t's a decent game, but it's still buggy. Several times I've had the game freeze on me when I was trying endless mode, once on wave 28 and once on wave 34. I tried hitting the path reset button but it didn't do anything. The whole thing is rather frustrating to be trying to set a new high score and just have the game freeze.

First level freezes on me before I can finish it. Last time it happened on wave 20! and the last few enemies just stood out of range and there was no way I could kill them!

Why is the tutorial so LONG? Is it not possible to introduce gameplay in 10 waves or so? And in the event that I'm about to lose but want to retain whatever progress I've made, can't there be a way to super-speed up the round? It's been 10 minutes and the round is still going.

Guys - you can click the icon of the Calendar to make the attackers re-route themselves. It may not help but often does fix problems where they're just out of range.

Needs an "abort wave" option, or just kill off all the attackers after 60 seconds. I still get stuck, mostly with engineers. Have also been able to build a bastion, but was not able to put a cannon on it because something was in the way ?!

how to play this: 1. build a fat wall from the cheepest baricade to prevent enemy from walking left or right. 2. enemy atack that big wall for no reason. 3. game stuck enemy turning round and round out of range. 4. give up
