Under rating threshold (show) This game is great, I love building fortresses with lots of angles so you can maximize fire on the enemy. I will say, playing as the British just isn't fair sometimes, Greenjackets make it so the enemy can't touch your walls. Maybe for Master of Fortresses II, make ranges similar for all factions, but give Greenjackets a chance for headshots (crits)?

Under rating threshold (show) It'd be good to be able to multi-select walls and troops to upgrade; it's so tedious to click on EVERY SINGLE UNIT. But still. It's a nice game. And it's surprisingly satisfying watching ant-like attackers perish.

Under rating threshold (show) loved the game!! some bugs with cannons, though; sometimes they dont shoot right after they "see" an enemy. Also, I havent played as the french yet, but Ive already got Kings Artillery and Balls of Steel achievements...

Under rating threshold (show) Nice game, but too easy... Just build two lines of soldiers, upgrade them when you can, and build puckle guns, they rule everything :-) You will easily win all the maps

Under rating threshold (show) yes, the canons do have the same range and instant-kill, but if ur the kinda guy who doesnt care about protecting ur canons, then u use the more advanced 1s (they have more health)

Under rating threshold (show) royal bodyguard achievement doesn't work, it says that it lowers gardes cost, and when playing it says 85 instead of 95 but still it takes 95 to build it

Under rating threshold (show) It wouldn't hurt to fix the bug that, earlier in the game you have enemy troops too weak to take out a wall, and yet there's like 2 of them left, so they just sit and shoot and shoot (just out of your range) doing no dmg. You have to restart the level.... REALLY irritating

Under rating threshold (show) I made a checkerboard pattern with barracades and Engineers broke them, stepped on them, and got stuck.. forever, and the callender anti glitch button failed to fix problem-

Under rating threshold (show) I seem to have found a bug. Although the prices are written as cheaper after getting achievements, the cost stays the same. E.g. unlocking "Garde" when playing as French says the price is 900 but charges me 1800

Under rating threshold (show) Is it just me or does playing as british vs prussia easy mode. Seriously, long range snipers against horrible ranged infantry. You don't really need any cannons or defense, just a lot of wood around your fort for snipers to stand on. =p

Under rating threshold (show) I don't know why people rate this game so low. This is really good and original tower defence, with fantastic in-game achievements. If the author of the game would fix the cannon range and dmg rate bugs this game would be superb. It would be even better with more Kong badges, beacouse there can be many of them- for example: easy for winning first map/battle.; hard for achieving half of a badges and impossible for claiming all of them.

Under rating threshold (show) Only the best TD game I've ever played. This should be the model for future TD games. I liked the idea of being able to build a castle, but eventually actually just made stand alone 2x2 towers with an open path to my garrison, that they never made it to. It also prevented the enemy from posting just out of range and shooting at my castle wall. I'd like to see a longer storied mode, where the first battle was at the border and the last battle was defending your capital. The strength of the final army against you influenced by how well, or how poorly you defending the outlying keeps. As for balance, yeah, units do become over powered soon. Necessary for the marathon round, but these unit bonuses could be adjusted to provide multiple difficulty levels. Other than that, the development of some different defensive artillery and siege equipment. And finally a random map generator for endless, every changing fun.

Under rating threshold (show) Really like the game but there needs to be many changes: - Fast forward button that doesn't need you to hold it down (maybe even faster than it currently as well) - Counter on achievements to show you progress or how far you got - Increased difficulty (once you reach the higher grade infantry the enemy doesn't stand a chance) - Cannons need variation in terms of damage or firing rate (maybe even a hold fire button so that you can wait for more enemy troops) - Units glitch and stop firing after there's too many shots on screen - Maybe a button to "upgrade all" so you don't have to click each individual unit/building when upgrading (as an option and it will do as much as it can with your money) - Maybe have bastions rotatable on more angles so they aren't always 90 degrees to the wave - Throw in some random situations ex. sabotage and your troops fire half as fast due to poison

Under rating threshold (show) It could have been a nice idea. However the complete lack of balance ruins it. All the cannons are equal, but the last one that is crazy good. Moreover you can unlock the last one without unlocking the previous ones. Cannons, even the last one, are however way worse then third level troops. The only strategy needed is a 3-slot thick wall full of Greenjacket around your base. You build it, and then you launch all the waves. Pretty lame. Moreover, after wave 10 the game is pretty much ended, it doesn't get harder, it's just a matter of time. Hard levels are just longer then easy ones. With a bit more thinking around it could get a good game.

Under rating threshold (show) There's a few glitches with the french. One is when you unlock Earthworks, it doesn't show it unlocked unless you click a different tab and then go back to the buildings tab. The other glitch is that the bonuses from medals for the Francais Guarde don't seem to work. The cost per unit says 72 but it is costing me 95.

Under rating threshold (show) Does it bother anyone else how poorly balanced this game is? I got Green Jackets with nothing else and won a hard map with 24000+ gold left over. On the other side of it, mines are so over-priced that they're useless!
