The wizard feels walks way too slowly and cannot jump or crouch. These facts make A) your lightning spell a liability in combat since it's LOS B) you feel like a slug when walking up small slopes C) the wizard ridiculously weak in basic combat. I realize you're supposed to replace these things with magic, but this doesn't do it for me. It just feels inconvenient and clunky. Fighting a boss feels like one of those cartoons where a really light person picks up a firehose to try to fight a fire but just gets thrown about by the blast. I don't feel like the avatar is a wise old wizard, but instead is an idiot for not investing in some basic calisthenics. If you want to make a game where getting around is exploiting Newton's laws, try making it the main focus and making it feel less clunky. Don't even get me started on the quests. If you pick up one quest item and then finish another quest, you lose the item! NO! BAD!

very unique game ! a mix between:
- rpg
- platform
- and playing card style type of game
And it works great!! Impressive !!

I don't like how the only thing that can damage bosses is lightning. Fire, Ice, and Undead should be able to damage the bosses too.

Bug, Atleast in lvl 1 and 2: If I get the key, open the prison from the Mojo, and I launch myself in, NOTHING happens, so I can't get more then 3 parts done per lvl . . .

Also as you essentially need to fly, and the only flight spell is the single 'fire', as a matter of balance either just have that as a locked spell, or create higher level spells that include flight.

I finished (did enough quests to unlock the final levels then beat the final boss) without ever even realizing you could create new spells besides the default three, until I was poking around after the fact. The spell system is very cool, but underutilized in the game itself. The game needs more levels to put it to use in, and should require that you advance your spells in order to complete certain things perhaps. At the very least the 3 default spells shouldn't be enough to finish.

I'll echo the others. Need to be able to continue a level from where you were. It doesn't add anything to play the same level through 4 times.

best strategy against bosses is to sorround your self in earth then shield yourself then summon undead to do your dirty work while your safely shielded behind the wall

Needs some work. It would be nice if you weren't kicked from the map, as people have said - it does get a tad frustrating. More importantly, the spells need to be re-balanced. Fireball doesn't appear to do almost anything - enemies just get knocked back before taking damage. Icicle is nearly useless, doing much lower damage than other spells for a good bit higher cost. House of Lightning is the reverse - hideously overpowered, basically obliterating everything. Fun concept, though.

i love this game! but its a little crummy because of the restarting the level when you do a quest :/ but i love flying with fire :D

like everyone else said, it's a good, interesting game, but has two big issues: performance and having to start over a level when completing each mission.

I love the game. no problems with lag here. I like the fact that there is no jumping, makes it different than any other "quest" type game. I do wish you could continue on to the next quest without restarting level

I see a lot of comments railing at the level size and design, and the lack of jumping. Neither of these bothers me at all. I actually like the exploration aspect, and the locomotion was original and fun. The only problems were: Major lagging on my Core2 Duo machine by game's end (fine at the start), levels restarting at quest completion, combat too easy, and card XP credit for earth spell dot damage.

I don't like that after you complete one mission, it takes you out of the level. It especially sucks when you only need to find one more statue, and then accidentally hit the mojo.

anyone else notice that the lag is bad when the music loop starts over? I'd like the option to disable the music entirely, not just raise/lower the volume.

Game very fun, i enjoy it a lot, but House of Lightning is too powerful. Since i get it i kill everyboss without seeing one, and sometime behind a wall.

Once you have Stone of Fire (red card), Shield (Red + White cards) and House of Lightning (Red + White + Dk Green cards) then defeating anything, including bosses is pretty easy. Good game, though.

Game seems like it has potential. I couldn't really get into trying it because by the second level the memory leaks were making it lag unplayable.
I'd love to give the game a fair try if you updated it to fix the memory leaks. seems potentially fun.

Anyone complaining there being no "jump" button obviously didn't bother to play the first game. You can essentially "fly" around with the flame spell. This is better than the first game, but there are some odd design choices. Why do you have to finish each level four times? Where's the in-game map viewer? Still, a great effort. 4/5

for the people who are complaining about the jump button, just shoot a small lightling at the ground, you should fly up because of the knockback
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Adding to my other comment: Attack with little knockback, CHAIN LIGTNING, just point slightly above your head (it goes to the enemy) so that the knockback is absorbed by the floor

For those complaining about the jump button... Learn to Jet-Pack-Fire. You`ll love it. Oh, and if you think attacks ahve a big knockback, you can either NOT CHARGE YOUR LIGHTNING (EG shoot loads of mini lightnings) or simply combine Wind + Fire for the fireball attack
