I've got a slow computer and while the levels themselves are quite playable, loading times are monstrously slow. Any idea on how to alleviate or fix that?

Great game ! But I can't play it anymore @_@ I disconnected once, and ever since every time I try to launch it, it says "Disconnected from server." I deleted my cache, my cookies, emptied my internet history, all in vain… I'm frustrated, now ! >_<

@conhax karma is gotten without real money... it's dropped by the thousands in game...

Glitch found. When I did the Gashadokuro mission, I accidentally killed Gashadokuro before Bonedancer Lex. The mission complete button didn't appear, so I assumed I had to kill them both (would have done it anyway). After killing Bonedancer, the Mission Complete button never appeared, so I had to go back to the village, via the "Return to Village" button in the settings menu. As a result, the old man questgiver did not acknowledge that I had done the mission and I did not receive my EXP and karma bonuses.

On the partner select screen, the weapon/armor view is always for the player to the immediate left rather than the center one. Can you please fix this? Also, I'd like it if we could see the names of what they're equipped with and perhaps even the item's stats when we mouse-over, but it's not absolutely essential.

well played the first 3 missions. liked the game, bought my first ability for karma, then i saw that i needed alot of karma to access the next missions. instant quit.. ty for the 3 missions atleast. 3/5.. bcuz i ain't beeing forced to pay to cntinue play

It would be really great if you could view the whole game on the screen at the same time, instead of having to scroll up and down.

just a suggestion but can you guys make bosses drop better loot please or else there are no point in killing them other than mission wise
I could tell you what we have in our super secret "Things that are coming in Akaneiro" file, in regards to bosses, but it might just BLOW YOUR MIND !!!
I believe that's on the way :) Don't hold your breath tho.... even if you could hold your breath for like 2 minutes, it's still gonna take longer than that.
WASD is something that's being looked to implement in the future. I can tell the team that beasties hiding behind rocks needs to be addressed though ;)
Lots more content is on the way, don't you worry about that.
As you can appreciate, creating full 3D worlds and enemies and all this takes considerably longer than some simpler games :)

If you have died, and didn't realize it, and continue furiously clicking, its too easy to accidentally click the option to go back to town.
You'd be surprised how often we hear this. Is the problem that you're not seeing the death? Because there's a fair amount of time between dying and the option appearing.

In a nutshell, you're not getting Akaneiro from Kongregate, it's downloading from a CDN (Content Delivery Network).
The simple fact is that Akaneiro is a hugely complicated game with huge 3D levels and lots of textures and awesome music to download. It shouldn't take too long to download levels on a broadband network, but we are looking into ways to make this even better.

I suggest giving this game it's own little website to allow more room to help it with operating smoother and quicker, because I'm using a very powerful computer and it's taking over 30 minutes to load the tutorial level. Long story short: This game is too powerful for Kongregate to operate properly.
The power of the computer has nothing to do with the loading times. That's the speed of your Internet. We are aware that loading is taking long for some people (It shouldn't be taking more than a minute or so to load a level if you have broadband) and we are looking into ways to help with this. We do have standalone clients you can use that will download the entire game to your PC so there are no more loading times, but you cannot use your Kong account on these clients.

it's harder for you to get heavy armor? because everytime i get good stuff they are either light or medium. or this happen because my heavy armor upgrade is the highest? or i just got no luck...
What? I heard jsj83 was the baddest most kick-ass hunter in all of feudal Japan. What happened to you, man? Get back out there and show those Yokai who's boss !!
Well luckily we added two ways to buy stuff. You can grind a little and get the stuff for free or if you want to be extra awesome you can throw some $ at the screen and support indie devs like us so we can put food in our bellies and make more super games ;)

The game "looked" good. But it took so long to load from scene to scene that it wasn't worth playing. This highly intensive bandwidth hog should not be an online game.
Do you have an important dinner date to rush off to? Loading should take no longer than a minute or so on most broadband connections. If it's taking longer.... something is wrong somewhere. Still, if loading is giving you sleepless nights, try the standalone versions ;)

That's complex and awesome Unity3D games for ya. It takes a long time to squeeze all the pixelz and polygonz down the Internet tubes. Stick with it though... the game is awesome !!

This game is the Best i have ever layed you guys were also smart to add a ally just in case people needed one :3 also great idea with a swirl for the health bar i am tired o those health bars

when a page finishes loading, please just start. There's no need to wait for a click if the load isn't excessively long.
