oh and the stats don't seem to update either. i've done a few missions and killed a lot of enemies but it says i have no stats.

the game idea is not bad, but for the moment this game is not really stable... especially when u try to load a new map. Also a lot of bugs that interrupt the gameplay need to be fixed, before u can really start to get financial aids... Of course u need time for this, but u shold try to fix this asap, before the game lose his newcomer status

This game is showing great potential, but it still requires some work.
In the future, I would hope to see better tooltips: show me how much damage a skill is going to do, how long effects last etc. It helps making a desicion on what skills to level up.
Also, I think the difficulty of "overrun" levels need to be reworked. When I enter an overrun mission, I always do so knowing I will suffer massive losses to karma points (due to the bosses). I could pay karma points to lower the difficulty, but that just feels like cheating.

Pls don't think that we do. We don't. Your game data should cache - once downloaded it should stay on your machine. Only reason it might not - if we do an update (which we haven't for a while) or you are playing other Unity3D games and they wipe out the Akaneiro data.

Wow great game! I'd have to say this is one of the most interesting and well balanced game on Kongregate. A mixture of difficulty and fun. And the best part is that its not corrupted by the lust for a quick buck. Kongregate needs more games like this. 5/5

wow, I can run it on my hp minibook with, like, a 256 mb gfx card. kudos for the amazing lag reduction, especially with all those breakables.1000/10

I agree with many others. Well done. Great graphics easy fun play. Sometimes tedious. a bit more random gen dungouns/instances would rock
Issue/Recommendations:
Timers - I would like to see some sort of timer on buffs that are perishable. ie. food/drinks/ pets.
Tool tips- do the stats, power fortitude, skill affect your character? or just your specials?
Hired hero - Would be nice if we had perhaps an offensive defensive setting. Something to keep the helper from rushing into the group of mubs that a skill based player is trying to pull in small groups.
Camera - movable?
Scaling - I did donate with the opening all areas, but otherwise stepping into a new area can be quite tough.
Bugs? - The poison arrow will kill a mob, and it will drop karma, but the mob will still be alive and attackable.
Not sure if this is due to server communication or something else.
Lots of great suggestions there and some that are already in the pipeline, such as more varied missions. Glad you're enjoying Akaneiro and keep your eye out for all the great new stuff when it comes :)))

The random lag is killing me, almost literally. Too often the monsters freeze while my character continues to hit them, but doing no apparent damage. Apparently when this happens they continue hitting me normally, but it's like my usual defenses aren't up. And I can't hit them except once or twice from what it tells me when it catches back up. This way three regular monsters that should have been a cakewalk become a nightmare.

The shopkeepers are real dirtbags. "We really hope you defeat all yokai and save the world, you still have to pay a shitload of money for that sword though."

the one friggin' annoying part of is that there a few flaws with it ("beta is beta after all" TB quotes)for example you keep sending us to the same levels it's like you don't want us play and just force into something that is EXTREMELY repetitive.As of right now I would rate it 3.5 of 5.

Game glitched up 10 minutes into playing and is now detecting a bad unity file. A lot of promise in this game, but there appear to be some kinks to work out.

This game is fun to play and doesn't get tiring. But it would be nice to have a scythe to slay those Yokai with and send their souls into the Void.
