I figured out finally why Lyris was giving me graphical glitches. I was using my Intel card instead of my Nvida card to run the game. So basically I had manually make Firefox run my Nvidia card in the settings menu. Hope this helps anyone else out with the Lyris graphics bug. Also, the standalone version was crashing randomly on its own too so yea. Doesn't seem like either the browser or the standalone are any more stable. So just stay on your Kongregate Pirate Galaxy account to save yourself time.

why energy and why take so long to get to moons and planets I cant just wait for four minutes or an hour. Why have the energy what if I run out all of sudden in a giant battle

Guys, get the standalone client version of this game. After a certain point in the story the Lyris moon will glitch out. Also, the game in the browser constantly crashes and I have to keep refreshing every time it happens! It so aggravating!
So I've taken the trouble to write my feedback on this game to save every new player the trouble of starting over because you can't transfer your Kongregate Pirate Galaxy progress to the Splitscreen standalone client version. I got to level 17 and decided I had enough of the instability of the browser version. >:(
Copy and paste the link below to download the client and then when you launch the game you can create your account inside the client itself. 3/5. The controls are awful, it takes a full second for my ship to react to my commands, and "completed" missions don't work.

who would put this energy thing in the game I cant have a problem like that I cant function anything at all when I got no energy I could only move and if your in combat that's what makes it real annoying

I must say I thought you littarly hand to like fly around like in other games but I didn't which im happy about and we got allies to fight with us on missions but why do we get no protection when were carrying special cargo

This is a game I enjoyed a few years ago on my Win7 PC. Shame it's not compatible with chromebooks so I can't play in college.
