I shot a door with enchanted bow by 20 fear runes. Then this game stopped. Don't shoot doors with the feared enchanted bow.

I have strong reason to believe that gear findings are directly related to your level. This also applies to polymorphing. For instance, polymorphing a weapon at level 1 will only result in either a knife or a gauntlet.

equip golem face for perfect armor & HP.
equip orc face on minion for perfect stun, damage, knockback. and equip bow on him

enchanting a portal rune to a weapon or armor opens a doorway to a small pocket dungeon with certain enchanted items. eating a portal rune opens a portal to overworld that carries over in case you die so you can go back to that level. feeding your minion a portal rune opens a door to the underworld where you can steal death's scythe.

I'll need to stockpile and double-check rune effects now that I know the overworld trick. Undead on weapons looks like it might heal your minion through kill/"sacrifices". Not what I'd expect....

very addictive game, but the minion AI is probably the most annoying part of it. he constantly dives down pits when we walk over them, and sometimes sits on a higher platform while i fight an enemy below. the pit problem is exacerbated by the fact that he sometimes walks in front of you, which can be useful if you're low on health, but also leads to more wandering and falling into pits on his part. he also has problems with pathfinding when he's separated, mostly because he doesn't treat walls that dissolve when you walk into them as solid, so he falls into pits and is trapped by walls/floor tiles that lead down the pit or to a ladder.
i know that these problems can sometimes be solved by summoning the minion back, but he can sometimes go right back to where he was, into a pit or up a ladder. also, these problems occasionally happen when there's an enemy in sight, and that wastes valuable knife-throwing or bow-shooting seconds.

Underworld portals revive your skele friend, opened by rune portals, floors that you have opened the portal at, using a rune of undead on an item and killing a monster (chance) throwing a rune of undead at a monster and then killing it.
If you go to the overworld and hit the cog on the right side till you quicken, use the height you get from it to loot the chest, its got something cool in it.

if no one's figured out how to get the chest in overworld, level up and quicken, while floating up, hold right and fall onto the chest. So far I've gotten a +Fez, Harpoon, +Cog, and a Gun Leech.

When you and minion our both wearing invisibility armor, your sprites swap. Is this a bug? It's annoying either way. :)

dude... level 20 dungeon level 21 on dogmatic mode, 2 runed-as-all-hell lightnings and CRAZZY armor... so im killing something easily and carefully (cause lord knows with rogue likes you if you face your problems head on you die...) gave my minion undead weaponry so he could heal himself when he gets killed. ANYWAYS so im tapping the move buttons staccato so I dont die somehow... i told myself this is the life I will kill the balrog...
so a quiken comes from somewhere out of the shadows and kills me... in a 64th of a second... please fix that?

You guys keep posting bugs here in the comments like it'll do much. The developer stated in his official Red Rogue website that he'll only take bug reports on his twitter or email. Plus there's a bug report button right here on the game's kong page...

Rogue feelings: I arrived to downfloor 12, this starts to desesperate my soul, monsters apearing and disapearing, the walls have live, total darkness, no light, He comes.. all the time, I start to lose the faith.. my minion died again, I have fear of what possibly I could see if I keep going... THIS GAME PUTS MY EMOTIONS TO 1000!!! <3333 desesperatly hard, put yourself in the shoes of the rogue, and u will live an incredible fear adventure. 10/5

It would help a lot if you and your minions equipped weapons and armor were always the top items in the menu. Especially for the often times of having to check for recovered stolen gear that's been de-equipped.

If anyone's wondering about "Elbereth" here's the fun special effect from a wiki: http://nethack.wikia.com/wiki/Elbereth. No it does not cause the "Your Fury Takes Form" effect. The "Fear" rune or enchantment does that to your enemies. It creates a red nightmare form of themselves that attack until dead or for a short period. The effect "He comes..." however creates a nightmare of you that attacks/chases you and can come from the sleep action randomly or with runes and enchantments from enemies.

when a ?(one of the rune) bow shoot to a door,the game freezes and all the log displaying as your fury takes from.well I guess the game developer should know what I mean

Huzzah, finally won. The only thing I can say is that I really, really wish we got more runes of identify; I want to be able to make informed decisions and compare enemies, but when I'm getting, like, 3 or 4 runes of identify per trip, requiring one for every single wep type, enemy, and armor type, I'm never going to be able to ever even get close to filling out my lore section.

the minion should treat disappearing walls as solid, since he can't open them himself and can get stuck. the enemies also have this problem, often trying to flee into a corridor and being blocked by seemingly solid walls, and getting backstabbed well before the wall opens. this may be technologically difficult, but it might be possible if you give enemies a separate map that has the capacity to accept that walls have disappeared. this would allow them to think a wall is solid and escape in a different direction, then come back later and learn that an escape path has opened. if that isn't possible, it might be good to give at least the enemies, if not the minion, maps that have all the disappearing walls as solid, so they won't run into dead ends the first time you chase them.
