the ending song is just annoying though and dont rate until youve beaten the game because it actually gets hard after the first few levels duh idiots they are obviously going to make the first few levels easy but then they actually get hard so that you can lose

ai isnt unfair it just starts with more gold, buyes lots of miners, and doesnt blow all of it by just hiring huge amounts of soldiers, it does hit and run tactics attacking with a few, then more then more, unless you attack and kill miners they always win

omg ...best game eva played...think i might sell my xbox just to play on this game all day cos i wont be needing it anymore. beat the game using only swordwrath ...and tried it agen without upgrades...easy =]

Really enjoyed this game! Excellent job with this one. The only minus is that this game is way too easy. It did not provide anything hard that really made me think what I'm doing. Still, I did enjoy it. 4/5.

heres a thought spam full upgraded swords mem and archers then pick one swords men hit attack and just keep hitting the satue whele the kill the defenders

Very little difficulty curve or strategy involved, i won all levels by creating 2 miners then spamming swordsmen, occasionally throwing in an extra unit just for the hell of it, not cause it was necessary. looks are alright, but this is nothing special 3/5
NB, once the last "boss" broke out of the statue, the giant i had summoned stopped dead in its traks and did nothing unless controlled. Glitch?

I'm finding the AI a little buggy. First, attack sometimes doesn't get registered by most of my units. My archers rush forward while my swordsmen and spearmen stay with the statue. Second, I wish there was a way I could have my units prefer to attack the enemy statue or the enemy units. I find the enemy statue is often close to defeat when my units continuously get distracted by a new unit coming on the screen. What should take another 5 secs to defeat leads to a minute or two.

The game is fun, but it is too easy, players are able to win every level with same tactic, and thats bad... you can allways use mages to spam minions, you can allways use archers to kill any attackers or you can allways use speartons to kill enemy without problems... any of theese tactics can be used on every level

All levels on all difficulties are easily winnable with the same startegy: first make 2 additional miners, then make 1 swordsman and control him to kill off the first couple of attackers, once you have 400 gold make an archer and set the command to attack mode. Keep making archers till you have about 10, and then start spamming with swordsman. The archers will kill off any attackers while the swordsman destroy the statue. This should work for every level as long as you fully upgrade the archer and miner, then upgrade swordsman and statue gold production.

Finnally a game where its not completely impossible in the beginning or too easy all the way through. It actually takes some tactical ability when nearing the end. awesome 5/5

5/5 Not only a great game, but the best stick game since Achilles! Also, the combination of "Basic War" and "Hero" is a even greater concept... In most levels i just died... but not as i began to do SPARTA and block/kill all enemies with a fully upgraded Spearmen... if you keep the spear and upgrade everything you can kill most enemies in one hit, upgraded shield blocks kinda every arrow and you can kill even a Giant with just one Spearmen...
THIS IS SPARTA GAME!!!

I got to the ice stage without controlling the units then got stuck so controlled just a swordsman and beat most enemies in 1 hit... This game was awesome until i controlled the units it makes it way too easy try playing without controlling the units thats a real challenge

to complete the game unlock all of the guys then frontline 3 Speartons 5 infantry and 1 magikill and 1 giant backline 3 miners 3 archers

Game is awesome, oh you dont have to struggle against giants, just manually control any unit and hit them in the back not only are you safe but you do 4X damage, then when he turns move out of the way.

Awww, im sad that it tells you how much time you spent on it at the end, makes it so you know how much time you wasted.. it was fun, but still
