Definitely a steep curve to the difficulty of levels but thankfully you can go back and farm for levels... interesting concept to have to make a building to enable tower building, but many levels feel a bit cramped to really make use of this... but i guess that's the point
Overall very enjoyable though, great theme and good variety of monsters as well as different strategies

I maxed out the points but I'm still struggling to get triple diamonds on Levels 10, 11 & 12! All I want to see is if there some hidden thing that unlocks at the end lol

36 Diamond stars was probably one of the most fun and interesting challenges I've come across in a while. Watchtowers for the win.

For those of you who want to grind the fastest, a heads up, grind on level 12. Make sure you have all the upgrades for the watchtowers, then just place 6 watchtowers in the middle, and upgrade them evenly as you go along. To stall the mobs, you need only place a single fully upgraded bully camp near the children, in the middle of them, and it helps if you have Wellfed Kids, Good Care as well as Fake Kid maxed out, since it will greatly improve your survivability. I'd say go for 4 Citadel of Frosts and 2 Bastion of Venoms, ensuring to put a freezing arrow into each before maxing out Iceberg Launch. For added awesomeness, add a totem of accuracy or two near the watchtowers.
It helps if you have your mana regen maxed with chain lightning, to pick off those hard to kill enemies. On average since level 18 I've been gaining 2-3 levels per playing level 12. You can boost the difficulty as you see fit, I however play on medium for a +25% XP bonus. + this so others like you can benefit. :)

In order to get the diamonds, you will need to grind. Best way is to finish the game on normal and don't worry about the stars. Then replay the last level, increasing the difficulty once you succeed to three star it. You can get two levels each time so it goes fairly fast. Once you have the first and third trees upgraded, you can restart on the first level and get you diamonds.

It doesnt seem right that if they even touch a kid, then I lose a star. I'd understand if they carry the kid off but he can be saved and run back to the group, no harm done right?

Just a request: When placing camps, it's hard to see where towers can be placed, because only the valid locations for camps is highlighted. Maybe a lighter color highlight for tower locations if placing camp at current location would be a nice addition.

In my opinion it is too easy to sell a tower.
Sometimes the sell icon is almost on another tower and if you want to select it you klick on the sell icon.

I've lost my save game twice, and I haven't deleted any cookies or done anything that could have caused it on my end. Screw this game.

I can't explain why, something about the 'Fake Kid' thing makes me laugh. Well thought out game, nicely done. And a complete interface! Flyover help, detailed info on units, clear layout ... can't stress enough how important the little details make the game. Too many developers come up short in that area. Top marks 5/5
Huh. Everything stacks, so far as I can tell. And I mean *everything* so far. Two totems overlapping the same tower? Twice the effect. Two energy chasms, upgraded? Double-upgraded fire rate. Two cursed cemeteries? Four skeletons per manor.

@kevinmitnick: Why? Why do you need to spam on this awesome game? Everyone who spams on these games suck and have no life

I love the tower placing system. Not the ground type as in don't touch my gems, not the preestablished possitions as in kingdom rush, but a "tower carrier" building!! And even better, upgradeable!!!

well done, loved the music, difficult gameplay that demands strategy, replay value with extra difficulty settings that can be adjusted to your liking/ability, and a funny little story to go along with it. despite the graphics not being up to date, this is a near flawless game. Thank you for making it.

One thing I would like to see in an update would be removing the lock from higher level units for the early stages once the levels have been passed.

Nice game with a good mix of kingdom rush & cursed treasure. game is very polished and fun. the only 2 minor points that I noticed was that #1 pressing escape doesn't cancel your selection (ie if you are placing buildings) and #2 totems should be allowed to be placed before towers, that way I can better plan my layout. other than that great game

Having the uprades stack, while nice, makes the later levels fairly easy. Just make sure you put two of the gold upgrades where all your skeletons are in range of both. By the 8th level of so, that extra 300 gold you spent on the second upgrade had paid off several times over. Use that to get more archers when you need them, like on the second to last level when a bunch of flying enemies come out. Best to have some archers early in their path where they won't waste their arrows at ground enemies allowing hte archers to fly by.

Not bad, its pretty interesting and fun to play this, and its not that difficult compared other TD games, which makes this relaxing to play.
It has decent graphics and all, but for some reason, something is missing for me. It's just... there's something not clear enough at the start. Maybe its just me, haha. But overall, it has everything a TD needs, so good job.

The song here is blowing my mind. I'm used to playing DF with SoundSense on, and the Title Screen Music just, well, it's not right without my ASCII Dwarves running around.
