Under rating threshold (show) it may be too easy if there was a "undo move" button, but it would save my hair from being pulled out cause I accidentally clicked on a acid puddle or otherwise missed the path right as I was about to end the mission perfectly.

Under rating threshold (show) One major flaw in this game: I can't tell where the holes in the walls are half the time. this is particularly annoying when the hole isn't even facing you and you can't see it because of the lay out of the map. they need to be highlighted, or stand out more thn tey already do. i had one mission nearly completed when suddenly two aliens popped out of a hole i had no idea existed and killed beckett, who has no hp as is.

Under rating threshold (show) Possibly one of the easiest impossible badges on kong. Stage 11 diamond was my hardest but I found that sending Taylor and the LT north and then splitting them up to the NW and NE corners by them selves, while sending the rest south and splitting those 4 up to the SW and SE corners was the best answer. Great game. Enjoyed it a lot!

Under rating threshold (show) Add a checkbox in options to turn on/off highlighting of vents? They can be hard to see, which I know is kinda the point, sometimes I wished they glowed red or had a mouseover although now I just remember where they are. Can you make the radius of pierce's bomb show up before you throw/place them? (in orange or another colour), or add the radius into the mouseovers for the skills? (I know it already shows up when you use Trigger Bomb). Sometimes it's hard to see or understand an aliens max move range when there's glue/acid on the floor. I have to guess at the "range" of a vent too, but maybe that's how it should be, we can't see where the aliens spawn.

Under rating threshold (show) I think you should add a kill-counter for each trooper and provide additional xp for killing aliens - not too much, but it feels wrong not to be awarded xp for killing them..

Under rating threshold (show) I don´t get why your squadmates status displays on the lower left of the screen actually qualifies as a target for flame thrower attack if thats selected?? isn´t any point in targeting the teammates PERSONALLY with an area attack.... frustrating control bug, great game nonetheless, played it for hours and will..

Under rating threshold (show) New update : corrected more typos. Thanks to everyone who pointed them out / fixed bug in mission 8, left behind troopers are counted in the score / fixed another bug : you correctly get the badges when you are victorious in the last mission of an act even if you skipped that mission before.

Under rating threshold (show) It would be nice to have a melee attack. I would imagine it being quite weak, but you wouldn't have to or worry about ammunition. This could be an attack using the butt of the machine gun. Characters could be equipped with a survival knife for more damage, or a bayonet.

Under rating threshold (show) Awesome game, but perhaps instead of having to reset every upgrade point maybe just make it so you can click a single node to activate/deactivate it. My only complaint is its annoying to have to reset every upgrade when changing strategies for different levels. Still 5/5.

Under rating threshold (show) I remember back when I was in middle school when I feel in love with flash games. One of the first series I got myself into was Modern Tactics, which basically melted down everything from Call of Duty into a turn based strategy. Truth be told, it worked rather well, being able to swap your soldiers equipment, classes, and perks to suit your need while keeping modes such as CTF and Search and Destroy and even introducing a Stealth mode which added even more to the game than I thought possible. However, as the series progressed the developer suffered problems with glitches and by the 4th game the series was a flop. I wish from you StormAlligator to take the potential of this game and make it into replay value. Add some scenarios or custom maps (Map editor maybe?), ability to swap weapons and equip so we can upgrade more without overpowering ourselves and perhaps soldier-on-soldier battles which would work better than you would think they would. Please, expand on this game!

Under rating threshold (show) Really a well done game, and deserving of far more plays and praise than it's received. The Diamond medals and challenges had just the right level of intense difficulty while still seeming within the realm of possibility and the various upgrades were very well thought out. I would have liked to see some minor changes (such as a highlighted radius when placing bombs) and I think the Woods character could have used a little bit of tweaking to make him slightly more useful (the Cry of Self-Control was essentially useless), but overall a fantastic example of a flash game done right. Here's hoping for a sequel!

Under rating threshold (show) I wish there was a reply button on these comments.... @Stormalligator's response to my post. It's not that the level isn't beatable with the upgrades you have. I know there is a walk through that probably demonstrates this. Also the fact that you have a reset skill points button automatically puts this game ahead of others that don't. But even after I finish a game, I like to continue to play it (If it's enjoyable obviously) and max out the upgrades that are available. I just feel that, even though it's beatable with much less, it's still fun to max out your characters and completely dominate. I really like the additional challenges in game to earn more experience because it has a requirement of only so many skill points anyways so it's definitely something to strive for. All in all it's a fun game and I could keep on going but this comment is long enough as it is. Thanks for your time =)

Under rating threshold (show) In the sixth mission, I only got hit once and passed it easy, but it said I left 4 behind. Is it because I killed all the aliens before pressing the buttons when the mission briefing said to do it the other way around?

Your troopers need to be on the same side of the doors Beckett and Pierce are, if not, they are stranded with the aliens.

Under rating threshold (show) I think Taylor's "Self-Control" and Wood's "Cry of Self-Control" and "Leader of Men" skills could use a boost, they are very situational and I almost never need them (besides the point that close combat and giving the enemies free attacks are both bad anyway), and Wood's own "Cry of Focus" has a better accuracy bonus that is always on for the duration. Maybe add a 25% chance of ammo preservation, like a quarter of Farro's base skill? that makes a good alternative or boost to bigger magazines (you can handle the situation of ending up with 5 shots left in the clip by making it count as a normal shot again, it'd be necessary anyway to get the average 7th shot expected).

Under rating threshold (show) This game is Warhammer 40k meets a flash game, space marines Vs tyranids, I just wish I could be the aliens haha. Well put together combat system that challenges one to think about how to best make a fighting retreat considering defense, offense, line of sight and much more than other games even brush on.

Under rating threshold (show) Very impressive. Missions are not so difficult to complete, but to earn gold you must think a lot and invent a strategy. It reminds me my impression of "Kingdom rush" - small changes in battle system totally renew and refresh gameplay. The same thing here, with firing during alien move. Only one time before I was enjoyig so much step-by step strategy game of such a kind. I played one aimilar game, but it was a bit more realistic (and difficult): if you lose party member in one mission, he or she is really killed.. so you should fight in next missions with smaller party (or try to complete previous mission better, to keep all units alive). Maybe something like this in a seaquel? It will make a game more immersive)) 5/5. and liked music very much

Reminds me my teenage times when I was playing a game called UFO enemy unknown or something like that, on PC without windows, launched on DOS, with like 100 MHz and 16 MB RAM :D. Good memories :D. I do wonder why there are not many turn based tactics games like this one. I absolutely love these. One more great game that reminds me this one is Jagged Alliance. Do I have to say... 5/5 from me :D

Under rating threshold (show) Just finished the game, simply amazing, x-com back again. I would like an undo button, how about having it available only three times per mission. This way, no abuses of explore/undo, for those you could be tempted. And if you miss click more than three times a mission, Man! you have bigger problems to deal with before playing this game.
