I LOVE this game! And I usually hate turn based games! Everything just fits together so well. Alert mode gives you an advantage and a disadvantage, but if you don't use it you could die, but if you have little ammo then it could be useless, so the choices you make are life and death. This game is actually my style, even though it's not the game-type I prefer, I'm just so addicted! Nice job!

BotD is a cinch. Just get both marines to the elevator in mission 2 and put them on alert. Reload once in a while and don't start the elevator until you're completely out of ammo.

I don't much care for having to tell supposedly trained soldiers in a combat situation that its probably a good idea to reload constantly. Other than that it's fine.

epic guitar rifts deserve 10 points all by themselves, they just so happen to be happening while you play a game that is so incredible I cannot describe it. I play a lot of games like Fire Emblem, and I love how every detail is thought out, from the hexagon based accuracy system, the alert system, everything is wonderful, I just wish there was more to it... damn, I hate how this game is years old, yet is still better than a lot of the crap that people PAY for, to get a worse experience ><

You can totally kill your own troops instantly by closing a door in the tile they're on, as I did accidentally on level 6. On the other hand, a ravaging, rampaging, and vicious extraterrestrial creature only does 30 damage. I think it's pretty obvious who the REAL threat is.

I really hate this "the game doesn't hand me the badge right away, so it sucks" mentality that a lotta people have on BotD situations

i just can't play, it seems the screen doesn't update the kong window... I'm blocked at the first title, in a sort of spaceship...
Any idea? I'm with Firefox, i'll try with Opera.

The game is boring. But seeing as tomorrow (6/11/15) it is the badge of the day, just repeat the first tutorial mission to kill those 20 aliens to get this badge for this horribly painful and boring game.

Hmm petite correction, ce jeux n'est pas accessible à certaines personnes ne possédants pas des facultés intellectuelles insuffisantes, elles laissent tomber trop rapidement ! (enfin ça justifie moins des 2/3 des ragequits, pas la totalité)

I get the feeling that the programmers of this game and others like it absolutely loathe and despise manual transmission automobiles because they're not complicated enough. I find this mechanic so atrocious that I could barely make it to the easy badge without wanting to vomit. 1/5.

Oh! I see an M41A Pulse Rifle on the loading screen... clearly you took inspiration from Independence Day. :P Now, seriously, I really get that Alien feeling while playing it. I'd like to re-name my team so they had the names of the Nostromo's crew. ^^

Ok I like the game but cannot figure out how to get mission 2 to diamond which I presume means under 3 turns....Cant even get it under 5 turns with all of upgrades maxed out. He just doesn't have enough movement. Help please

This is my favourite game on the site. Easy enough to get started quickly, but hard enough to force you to change your tactics over time. Well done!

Finally, finally, finally..... it must have taken 75 attempts to get the Diamond 12. And when I did it was zero damage.... lol.
